      I'm not seeing anything wrong yet but I only played for about 30min. There was a mod called magic overhaul but it's no longer up,  could you maybe change up some of the spells to like that mod. Specifically is magma and freezing mist spells. Also  extending the range of some of the spell would also be nice to.

      Many spells have had their casting arcs, speeds, distances adjusted already and I have plans to change more!

      Fortunately yeah I do actually have the old files for the Magic Overhaul mod, I learned a great deal from studying the regulation.bin when first getting started. Considering the mod has been completely removed, I could remake and customize some of the more interesting changes on spells I have yet to modify myself.

      Yes please do that would kick ass! Also could you tell me what the param. is for giving yourself more spell slots I can not find it.

      In Magic Param, under whatever spell you want to adjust the cost of, towards the top there is a param labeled 'SlotLength' if you are on mapstudio. I have not made any adjustments to actual number of spell slots available to the character, only the spell slot cost of each spell.

      Love magic mods, and the spells you've put out so far are definitely encouraging. Some suggestions for ultimate spells, I honestly think enhancing Scarlet Aeonia would be good enough for rot incantations, I can't think of anything that would fit better lore wise. For magma spells, I think the best fit, if possible, would be a spell based on Rykard's ult that conjures up some red clouds that rain down the exploding skulls. Best idea I can think of for a death sorcery ult is a variation of Tibia's Summons that summons one of the big skellybois to fire his laser. Just some thoughts, look forward to seeing this mod develop!

      Excellent ideas, I'll probably have to learn some new things to get some of these ideas working, but I think they're all possible. GardenOfEyes was able to make Dragonclaw Greathammer's weapon art summon the draconic tree sentinel as a visual effect so I would imagine reworking tibia summons in such a way would be possible. I'm not sure yet what I'm going to do to Scarlet Aeonia but I do plan on reworking it into an ultimate!

      This is exactly the kind of feedback I like to see, the kind that provides creative ideas to work on!

      Thank you, yeah it's hard to say exactly what should change about Scarlet Aeonia, I would say at least buff the type of rot it inflicts. Rot spells currently inflict the weakest (lowest DoT, tied with weapon for lowest duration) rot in the game, weapons inflict the next strongest (slightly higher DoT), then the Swamp of Aeonia (higher DoT, higher duration double that of player rots), then the Lake of Rot (higher DoT, same duration), then Malenia inflicts the strongest (highest DoT, highest duration almost double environmental rots). With how much of a pain Scarlet Aeonia is to use compared to weapons or the breath spells, upgrading the rot seems like a good way to compensate. Might be an interesting alternative to just a straight up damage nuke if you decide to go for some of the more extreme non player versions. Won't be very helpful against Rot immune bosses, but that's what you would expect for rot spells, and pest threads can take care of the larger ones anyway. Only other idea I have is that maybe it could provide some kind of buff to reflect its role in Malenia's metamorphosis.

      Hi Castle, thanks for sharing this mod! I have been playing it for a few hours and love how grand the top tier magics are.

      I'm not sure if you've already done or thought of this, but other mods have reworked a Dragon Lightning Incantation (generally Ancient Dragon Lightning Spear) into Placidusax's "nuke" version. Would you consider swapping or adding something similar? For those of us that enjoy the big boom :)

      Ancient Dragon's Lightning Spear is now a 60 faith req, 70 FP cost ultimate spell that summons Placidusax's giant "nuke". Uploading a small 1.03 now!

      The ancient dragon lightning spear and Fortissax"s lightning spear show the different requirements but don't seem to be working, can't throw them and no explosion

      This would appear to be on my end, sorry. I'm a bit disorganized and appear to have uploaded the wrong version. This has been fixed with the new update. 1.06

      Sorry, it's still not working over here I installed 1.06 of your mod, everything else works great, it's just the new lightning stuff.

      EDIT: The Ancient Dragon Lightning Spear has massively increased damage and radius, the animation just doesn't show what it's supposed to. And neither of the spear incants can be thrown, I hope that helps

      1.07 is out, hopefully this fixes it, I can confirm they are working in game on this new regulation, if they don't then something is very wrong and I've messed up big time lol.

      Are you merging the mod or just using the regulation.bin? I would be curious to see if anyone else is having it not work for them, because I'm using the exact same regulation.bin as you and mine works fine. Very confusing, I'll keep looking into it. It's a very simple change actually, if I'm unable to figure it out I may just post exactly what you need to change to get the spell working.

      I will upload one more regulation.bin and if you let me know it still doesn't work I will send you what you need to know to make the changes. I promise it's real easy to make the changes to the lightning spears.

      As stated before, amazing. If you are open to suggestions whenever you have the time and practice modding, Ive always loved the Godslayer Greatsword, but its ash of war has in my opinion, been kind of lack luster. I saw you changed it to buff the weapon at least, however its the moveset of the ash of war itself thats blah. Its slow and its clunky with limited stagger for what it is and limited pay off for damage output. I think itd really shine if given the wombo combo of Gwyn when the ash of war is held down or hit 2-3 times for follow-ups. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6AxO1wXDEw

      Also, maybe the lightning spear could be charged like normal, on throw though when charged, it creates a homing storm of lightning. Oh! And black flame tornado, its range and hitbox tick is kinda terrible. It could definitely use a little love to increase its range and number of hits. Perhaps even given the behavior of the storm ash of war stormcaller, where you can be somewhat mobile with repeated casts. Blade of death incantation is kind of bad too for what it is. Perhaps if it was to be buffed to be faster cast, and Malikeths triple leap attack that throws the destined death, with the follow up being the spin, or possibly a slam and explosion? Max of 4 casts. Gurranqs beastclaw needs a little love. I feel like it could be so much better if it could be charged like regular beast claw. Normal cast is what it is now, but charged cast, gives it the follow up earthshatter like daddy louxs jump slam does?

      These are some very good ideas, however much of them would only be possible with anibnd.dcx modifications as well and would not be possible with just simple param edits like everything else I've released so far. The lightning spear changes are definitely possible as param edits and I'll be testing them sometime tonight.

      I've been practicing with AnimStudio, and have made a couple 1H and 2H weapon movesets, but not much else. I also have been testing out some ash of war modifications but the process is different than custom spells and I am not quite comfortable with it yet.

      As I become a better modder some of these ideas may find themselves being implemented, thank you for the feedback!

      Hello, I just wanted to say that I am having an absolute blast with the spells I have been able to find and use in-game! I am however having trouble finding the ultimate spells for each category. Would they be in certain tomes or locations/vendors out in the world? Love everything so far!

      I'd recommend checking if your game's updated. This mod is for 1.07, whereas the latest update is 1.08.
      There are updated versions of the mod in Nexus though, just look them up :D

    Do you think you can take the stat requirements off of spells too? Very frustrating getting spells and not being able to use them unless I have the faith to use it on top of having a large enough magic pool

      I could potentially release a "full-on go crazy with it, to hell with balancing" version of the mod or two at some point, you're definitely not the first to ask. I tried to make the main version "balanced" by making the spells extraordinarily powerful but also extremely costly in order to reward investment in specific stats and being high level. You could definitely argue some are 'too' balanced with Elden Stars requiring over 50 in both Faith and Int to cast; though it does basically one shot anything but the toughest bosses.

      Would you rather a version where costs and requirements still exist but are brought down to a more vanilla or even arcade-y level, or a version where costs and requirements don't exist at all? I'm completely open to all input as I will likely not play on said version of the mod myself.

      He said version 1.09 of this mod, not that this is for version 1.09 of the game. Always check the last updated page on mods, this hasn't been updated since game version 1.07.
