NOW UPDATED FOR ER VERSION 1.10.0
This mod brings two brand new classes for the game inspired by two classes from the Network Test, the Bloody Wolf and the Enchanted Knight both of which are inspired by those but differ in their equipment and purpose to give them roles to standout from the existing base game classes.
The starting stats for both classes pretty much matches the ones in the Network test.
The Bloody Wolf remains mostly the same as the Network test, they start with the Bastard Sword, the Iron Roundshield, and a Light Crossbow with 20 bolts and 11 burred bolts, while wearing the Raging Wolf armor set.
This would make them not just the only class that starts with a Greatsword class weapon, but also the only one that starts with a crossbow, a simple class but it has it's own distinct starting role.
The Enchanted Knight is where things differ more from their Network Test counterpart, their main starting weapon is the Academy Glintstone Staff with the Carian Slicer and Carian Piercer spells with only a backup dagger for a traditional melee weapon, in addition they use the Carian Knight's Shield while wearing the Carian Knight armor set.
As another intellect Spellcaster class I wanted to give them a distinct starting spell-set compared to the Astrologer and the Prisoner, so on that end the idea is for them to be a melee sorcery class starting out, due to their straight up better protection than those two classes the Enchanted Knight's lack of range spells and a short reach dagger is the trade off for those benefits.
However in the base game both the Academy Glintstone staff and the Carian Piercer spell have much higher intellect stat requirements than the Enchanted Knight's starting stat of 16 (28 for the staff and 27 for the spell), I did not want to raise the class's intellect to match so instead this mod lowers the requirement for both, I have not changed how the staff and spell work otherwise.
In addition to all this, when choosing type A body for both new classes the initial face preset is one of the ones used in the Network test, just a small bonus since I really liked that face to use as a base.
Permissions:
Part of the reason I made the mod was not just as a standalone mod, but as an example of a class mod that adds new classes and doesn't replace the existing ones and how to add new class menu icons without replacing the ones that base game classes use, aka how future mods can also add their own new classes.
So for that I do give permission for anybody to roll this mod into any of their own existing or future mods.
