Hey everyone! This mod aims to create an Elden Ring experience that gives the player a fresh, more streamlined journey through The Lands Between by modifying many gameplay mechanics.

The changes to the games many mechanics are as follows:


All talismans in the game buffed and even added new effects to some. 
Talisman changes have been moved to text document in download.

Smithing stone requirement for regular weapons reduced per upgrade 

Example; 1, 2, & 3 smithing stone (1)s instead of 2. 4 and 6. (60 grand total for +25 instead of 120) making your journey to +25 much less arduous. However, you'll still need all 10 tiers of smithing stones to reach +25, so this isn't at all game breaking. It leaves you with more room to experiment with weapons without absolutely needing those smithing stone bell bearings. 

All spells only take up 1 spell slot
Many multi slot demanding spells feel like they aren't worth the extra slots due to wind up time and FP consumption. Scarlet Aeonia takes 3 slots for example, and it is incredibly hard to effectively use. 

Stat requirements removed from the game
All requirements for all weapons, bows, crossbows, shields, staffs, seals, and spells removed. Yes the anticipation of leveling up so you can use that cool weapon you got is a core component of souls games. However, it can be a bit of a killjoy on subsequent playthroughs. Don't worry about balance. With a lack of good stats, you wont be doing very good damage. So at this point, stats are all about boosting damage output. 

Staffs and seals are universal

You can use sorceries and incantations on both staffs and seals. I was always bummed out that there wasn't a universal casting tool like there was in previous games. instead of modding a single catalyst to be universal, i went ahead and just modified all of them.

Ashes of war are universal
You can put any ash of war on any weapon, bow, crossbow, shield, staff and seal. This one might not be super balanced, but it loosens restrictions, and is fun, so here we are. 

Affinities are Universal 
You can put any affinity (heavy, keen, bleed, frost, magic, poison, etc. etc.) on any weapon, regardless of ash of war/weapons base affinity. this one can be a bit buggy but works well a majority of the time. Note that you can do split hybrid Bleed & Frost weapons utilizing this overhaul.

FP regen added to player at 2.5% per second
I have always felt that the FP flask system was always a bit of a bore. It just has never felt very interesting using spells, and then drinking a potion so you can use more spells. Note that since its a percentage regen, the more you invest into growing your FP pool, the more FP you will regen per sec. Cerulean flask no longer equippable for balancing. There is also a passive hp regen but its so incredibly negligible its barely worth noting.

Flat rune gain increased by 2x 
Sometimes in vanilla, we feel like we need to farm runes when we feel under-leveled. This is to incentivize doing arduous rune farming a lot less or maybe not at all. You can still use Gold Scarab and Gold Fowl Feet as well. Ng+ also affected.

Instant rune recovery 
When you die and respawn at a grace, you will be able to recover your lost runes immediately, without traveling to where you lost them. The soul recovery mechanic of the souls franchise has always been a good one for adding extra pressure when trying not to die, and it has made for really fun moments. Elden ring however, is an open world game, this mechanic, in my opinion, does not belong here.  You can often go way far off the beaten path to a dead end and die, leaving you with only the option of having to go all the way back to recover the lost runes. That is not fun...

Tired of farming for gear? With This version of the SPFF you are guaranteed drops 100% of the time! But it only lasts 10 seconds, instead of 3 minutes.  

Buff any weapon you want, no restrictions
Does what it says. 

Bows Buffed from about 20% to 60% increase in damage
Lets be honest, bows are underwhelming in vanilla..

Tutorials removed from the game

No more pesky tutorials! 

Open map and crafting menu during combat
Because sometimes the game thinks you're actively in combat even when you aren't.

Custom  Starting Classes 
My own spin on starting classes that have a lot more personality than vanilla. lore friendly!

Dziggy's Detailed Item Description mod has been implemented into UCO
No more guessing what or how much in terms of what items do. Exact details down to the very specific values.

Installation:
installation: 1. Download mod engine 2 -> https://github.com/soulsmods/ModEngine2/releases <- and unpack onto your desktop2. Unpack the contents of this folder into the main directory of mod engine 2 folder. When it asks to replace, click yes.3. In the main folder of mod engine 2, click launchmod_eldenring.
