NOT UPDATED FOR 1.07
Notes on the moveset:
The one-handed attacks focus on speed, mobility, and disruption, while the two-handed attacks emphasize power and block penetration. But in truth, there's plenty of power on both...
The uncharged heavy attacks are unchanged. Charged heavy attacks function in the same way in both 1h and 2h stances: they inflict an immense amount of status buildup (e.g. bleed or frost).
It's worth noting that I designed this moveset primarily for the Bloody Helice. Almost all of these attacks also work on the other heavy thrusting swords, but I did not change their unique heavy attacks.
Dynast's Finesse now inflicts a Destined Death debuff, and the backwards spin part of the move now deals some damage as well. Become a beyblade of death.
1h light attack sequence -- Machiavel's Gambit: series of quick attacks, with the second launching enemies airborne, for you to strike before they even hit the ground
1h dodge attack -- Tyrant's Summit: returning from my colossal sword mod because I like it. Delivers two heavy slashes as you leap.
1h backstep attack -- Fool's End: very rapid charging attack, but it costs a portion of your health when you use it
1h sprinting light attack -- Phantom Lunge: block-piercing thrust that grants you i-frames as you approach the moment of contact
1h sprinting heavy attack -- Hope Eclipsed: a scythe of draconic lightning surrounds your blade, for an upward sweep attack that can launch enemies or deal high posture damage
1h first feint (dodge input + heavy atk input) -- Eochaid Dancing Blade
1h second feint (triggers after using the first of your two heavy attacks) -- Puissance: Pull enemies toward you as you leap into the air, then set off gravity shockwaves as you slam down
1h heavy jump attack -- Even in Hell: coats blade with a surge of lightning and slams downward. So far I haven't found the proper spell effect to add to it; it merely inflicts higher status buildup for now. I may update it later.
2h light attack sequence -- Blooded Fangs: after a wind-up, deliver two block-piercing stabs to break through even the toughest defenses, then follow up with a series of rapid slashes and thrusts, restoring some health and stamina along the way
2h dodge attack -- Bloody Slash, but it also boosts your stamina regen. Useful if you find yourself winded
2h backstep attack -- Giant Hunt
2h sprinting light attack -- Draconian Reign: your sword becomes a primeval railgun, and fires a high-speed projectile that can pierce through the enemies it strikes. Has very long range, well beyond lock-on distance. You can get some good no-scopes with this. I wish I'd recorded mine...
2h sprinting heavy attack -- Serpent's Tongue: similar to the original, infamous heavy thrusting sword running attack, but it's faster, and inflicts higher status buildup.
2h first feint attack -- Omnicide: this one's making a return as well. Leap followed by Destined Death slashes. I fixed the damage type on the first part of the attack, though I hadn't done so for the version that appears in my colossal sword mod. Maybe I will, in a future update of that mod.
2h second feint attack -- Raining Blood: Bloodboon Ritual gone nuclear. Massive aoe; do not use this skill around your friends. Also has a high health cost and prevents flask healing for a duration. It WILL kill you if you are a viglet. This is by design. It is also designed to hurt you through your screen so you don't overuse it.
TAES changed: a39, a150, a151
Regulation.bin changes:
AtkParam_PC: 600105, 600115, 600305, 600315, 600160, 600325, 300000991, 300602900 through 300602903
BehaviorParam_PC: 400000100 through 400000155
Bullet: 2941 (also alters Bolt of Gransax, by the way), added 2341 and 2342
Installation:
Option 1, no merging:
- Get ModEngine2 if you don't have it already. Download my 'plug and play' file. Put the contents into the 'mod' folder in your ModEngine2 directory.
- Run the game through the .bat file in your ModEngine directory.
Option 2, merging with what you have:
- Use Yabber to unpack your existing c0000.dcx file of preference. Take my TAE files and use them to replace their counterparts in your unpacked c0000 file's taes folder. Repack c0000.dcx, then place it back in your 'chr' folder.
- Place my CSV files in your Projects folder within your Yapped directory. File path might look like ...YappedRuneBear2.00\Projects\ExampleMod\CSV\ER. Open your current regulation.bin file in Yapped. Go to the parameters named in each CSV (e.g. AtkParam_PC), then from the top bar in Yapped, go to Data --> Import Data (or just hit F11). That should import my CSV file for that param. Save and close your regulation.bin.
( - If you're trying to merge with another mod that alters the same CSVs that I did: You should be able to open my CSV, copy the rows that I altered in my param, and paste them at the bottom of a CSV you already have (maybe from another mod). Then save that CSV and import it into your regulation.bin.)
Option 3, merging with Valendale's Cragblade mod:
- Choose which files you want to install from his mod page. See option 2 above if you want to merge those with mods that you already have.
- Download the Cragblade compatible files from my mod.
- After that, import my CSV files into your regulation.bin. These include both my modifications and Valendale's, for the params that we both altered. Unpack your c0000 file (which should already contain Valendale's files), and then replace taes a39, a150, and 151 with mine. Repack, and put the c0000 file in your 'chr' folder.
Quirks:
-- I smoothed out the feint attacks as much as I could but they still have rough transitions. Just imagine they are actually feints, and that the character conceals the attack he intends to perform.
-- If this mod makes the game too easy for you, just don't use flask, or use a non-upgraded weapon.

Valendale for an attack I borrowed from his Claymore mod. Check out his Dragon King's Cragblade mod here; it's underrated.
