THE LORD OF THE ELDEN RING PRESET

A ReShade preset made by a Reshaddict, for the Reshaddicts !
Through this ReShade preset, I tried to reach a mystical ambiance and a realistic sensation at the same time. I play the whole game with it and it's totally immersive. The preset also dilute the whole picture, hiding coarse textures for more realism. During the dark parts of the game it can also make some scary sensations - I recommand to desactivate it in the very dark areas, you may not see some enemies / loots / paths far away from the character.
If there is anything wrong with the preset, don't hesitate to let me know ! I'll try to help you the best I can. I created this preset from my graphics in very high settings. It may have a different result on other settings / graphics. I recommand you to start tweaking the parameters on the FX if you feel uncomfortable with the preset and your graphics.
I spent lot of time tweaking this preset, so If you want to post a ReShade preset that is highly inspired by the FX / settings I've used in this one, I would like to have a credit about it, even a small one :) I always did the same when I started to use ReShade.

INSTALLATION

If you are unfamiliar with ReShade, it's a very light software (that can be a FPS eater, depending on how you use the FXs in it) that add effects layers on the visual of the game you're playing.
The software got a tutorial itself when you launch it for the first time, which can be helpful !
- Download last ReShade version (5.2.2 in this case) at https://reshade.me/downloads/ReShade_Setup_5.2.2.exe
- Install it, by selecting the .exe game you want to link with ReShade (here, the eldenring.exe in /game folder) and click Next
- Click on Microsoft DirectX / 10 / 11 / 12 then click Next.
- On the next screen I recommand you to click on Skip, then double click on "Uncheck All". It will check all the FX to install, so you will have a huge library of FX to play with in the future and you will be able to use almost all the ReShade presets you can find on Nexus. Click on Finish
- Unzip my preset and put The Lord Of The Elden Ring - By Numa preset directly into your game folder.
- Put the reshade-shaders file into the game folder as well. If it asks to overwrite or not, click on yes (it won't change anything)
- Start your game and follow ReShade tutorial. Once it's done, I recommand you to go to the settings and define a key from the keyboard to activate / disactivate Reshade effect.
- Click on the small arrow and select The Lord Of The Elden Ring - By Numa preset
- Enjoy !
