This mod rescales damage (and nothing more) of enemies in almost all areas to reduce difficulty spikes to more reasonable values. Biggest difference starts in late game areas.
Spiritual successor of Lategame Damage Fix, the biggest difference is that my mod is updated.
Areas and damage reduction:
Considering that as you level up you get some damage reduction from stats too, so these values should be enough to fix the one shot problem without making the game easy. It without doubt makes the game easier, but it will still feel like souls game experience.
NG+ Addon
NG+ addon rescales NG+ cycles so difficulty will kind of increase as your character grows stronger due to additional runes you get from NG+. In vanilla game difficulty increases rapidly with each NG+ (which was a thing in previous souls games too).
Damage increase is now linear without any jumps, and enemies no longer gain any additional defence or stamina.
