About this mod

Godrick, Cuckoo, and Leyndell versions of the Banished Knights Shield.

Permissions and credits

ATTN all soldiers, guardsmen, and honorable knights of the Lands Between. Your local blacksmith can now refinish your Banished Knight's shield to match the livery of your unit's allegiance. As of this posting only the Godrick, Cuckoo, and Leyndell variations are available*.

*Our deepest apologies to those loyal to the Mausoleum. It seems that every last one of the (utterly incompetent) men we hired to obtain a template example of your outfit's unique regalia were stomped to death which unfortunately ruined the requested armor piece. As such, the Mausoleum Soldier variation is currently on hold.

Requirements
This mod needs the game files to be unpacked to work. You can find the tool to do this here. You'll also need the Elden Ring quickhack but for whatever reason I can't seem to find it atm so you're going to have to track that down on your own.
  • Note: You'll know your game files have been unpacked if there's a folder named "parts" in your main Elden Ring directory, along with a ton of other new folders.

Installation
    1. Make a backup of the original file (see below for steps).

    2. Download the mod you want to your game's main folder (ex. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ELDEN RING\Game).

    3. Right click the file and click Extract Here.

    4. You might need to patch the game via the UXM utility if it doesn't work.

Backup steps
    1. Assuming the games files have been unpacked, navigate to your \Elden Ring\Game\parts directory.

    2. Locate the file named wp_a_2002.partsbnd.dcx and copy to the desktop or to a folder of your choosing. Make sure to name the folder something like "Elden Ring Backup files".

Question: Will this mod get you banned?
Answer: Probably. You're essentially tampering with game files which I imagine is enough to trigger a ban.

Special thanks to JKAnderson for UXM and Meowmaritus for the UXM quickhack, and the amazing folks that gave us GIMP.
