About this mod

Improves ground npcs, some retooling of their weapons, and ground npcs walk 15% faster or more. Vanilla styled

Permissions and credits
Adjusts NPCs so that they're less useless. Not intended to break the game or carry missions on their own. Vanilla styled.

Broadly:
Fencers are massive bros

40% or more increase in HP (200->300 as an example, but values were set individually). Hero characters have higher HP than this.
Leaders were made slightly better, in some cases getting a unique weapon. One of sarge's men carries a shotgun now.
Movement speed up by 15%, more for Fencers (making them the best soldiers in this mod), they will resist slowdown from damage now
certain weapon types like Ranger shotguns received massive buffs. NPC guns overall buffed- values are modest, but expect range+speed improvements globally for rangers and fencers- characters will be much more willing to open fire
Nyx reloads rockets now, but total rockets is lower and the reload time is quite long- Likely out of line


This is not exhaustive.

(some) specifics:
npc shotguns reload much faster now, used to be 12 seconds for a reload, is 10 now, leader shotguns reload in just over 6 seconds
npc leader shotguns slamfire and fire twice every time the leader takes a shot, npc leader rifles are improved by very small margins overall, mostly ammo (+10, +1.2 damage). has slightly faster bullet speed, fire rate, accuracy, reload, and so on.
ranger and fencer leaders were given better hp than standard troopers as a whole
ranger rockets have 3 rounds total now and faster speed, but mostly unchanged otherwise
ranger flamethrowers are broadly much better and have longer range, damage was increased exponentially from about 0.05 (?) to 0.2 (yes, seriously)
fencer weapons got buffed as well, and the heavy cannon finally does more damage than the light machine cannon does, although not by a large margin (47 vs 55)
