About this mod

This mod changes the running animation for all long weapons in the game to look more natural and better.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Features as of v1.0:

- Running animation for long weapon changed to 2H weapon running animation.
Changes apply to all long weapons.

What is the purpose of this mod?

The purpose of this mod is to make weapon animations of the game look more natural and less goofy. The retail unmodded version of the game has Aiden flipping long weapons on the side of the screen while running like its some inflated baloon which just never runs out of air. The mod fixes this by replacing all long weapon running animations with 2H weapon running animation, this way the weapon stays near the center of his body as he is holding it with two hands.

It does not change katana attack animations or any attack animations so don't worry about that. It only changes the animation that plays when you have long weapon in your hand and you are running/jogging.

Installation:

For your convenience there are two ways to install this mod.

- 1st and most easiest way:

drag and drop player_anims_pc in DyingLight2StayHuman\ph\work\data_platform\pc\assets
MAKE SURE TO BACKUP ORIGINAL ONE

The first method will only work if the version of your game is the current version as of the day on which this mod was uploaded/updated. So what if this mod is not updated? Then you try the second option which is easy too but just requires a little effort.

- 2nd method:

Follow guide on YT made by can which tells you how to install animation mods. Its uploaded by a nice lad called Can.
Make sure your template settings are right because I spent 3 days trying to figure out what was the problem with my mod but it was instead problem with my settings.

Future Updates:

Yes I will update this whenever I have free time, but beware I can be late too. You guys can also leave suggestions on what animations should I replace with each other so that It can help me get better ideas for what to add.
