so far this is the best mod for the hook i have found. however if you are still working on it, could you update it to version 1.10.3? it works fine for me in this version with the only problem that when running the animation freezes and it seems as if it floats without even moving the legs.
Running animation freeze happens for me with this and the improved paraglider mod, not sure why....actually, after the latest update, my character can't even jump when the mods are installed
Tbh I can't play the game because my pc isn't good enough, so even if I upload it'll be hard to try it, however tomorrow I'll try to fix it, and for the changes, u can see it in literally the previous post, page 2
Havent played in a while and think an update broke the mod. I can pull myself up like it used to work but after a point i just stop going higher. Is there a fix for this?
how can i decrease the length once it is hooked onto an object, like pulling me up? too often i hook onto something far away but because the rope is long, there's so much slack and i barely get any height.
Param("RopeHookFixedRopeLength", "X.X"); Choose the length that the rope tries to reach after throwing Param("RopeHookFixedRopeLengthChangeSpeed", "X.X"); Changes the speed at which you achieve the new set rope length
I set the length to 3.0 and speed to 8.0 and it feels pretty good to me, but you can mess with it more and try to get it to your liking. Hope this helps.
PS ( Param("RopeHookOnStopSetPhysicsForcedVelocity", "true"); / Param("RopeHookOnJumpSetPhysicsForcedVelocity", "true"); /? if you set both of these parameters to true and the multipliers directly under them to 1.0, that could also help your feeling of the rope not feeling right)
do i have to upgrade the hook before it works? the mod was working with a previous save, with upgraded hook, but in a new save file now and i just got the hook, it's not working
