Increased XP gain, and lowered prices for trophies.

Unfortunately, I am no longer able to update the mod. It will work only if you have game version prior February 2022 update.
Sticky post has a solution.

Summary:

This mod does two things:
  • 8x times increased XP gain from all actions, except quest rewards
  • Drastically lowers "trophies" and gold requirements to upgrade equipment

As for XP gain, I haven't changed quest rewards, have not really found the setting. With the mod all Combat and Parkour actions will give you 8 times more xp, e.g. hitting a zombie gave you 1xp, now it gives 8xp.
8x rate does not insta-level you, I found it to be a sweet spot to actually have all actions unlocked, by the point you finish the main plot.

Trophies' requirements were lowered and there is no more "price curve" in them.
Lvl 1-2 upgrades remain the same in terms of cost, however 3-8 are pretty much stable.
Example:
lvl2 medkit = 10 uncommon, 1 rare.
Lvl3 medkit = 10 uncommon, 3 rare.
Lvl8 medkit = 10 (instead of 100) uncommon, 5 rare, 3 ultrarare.
Costs are also reduced. The most expensive costs 2000 gold, capped.

Grind is on a much more reasonable level.

Installation:

  • Download the archive with mod file,
  • Extract the file inside, called data4.pak
  • Copy the extracted file to  \Dying Light 2\ph\source.
In my case, full path is: K:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Dying Light 2\ph\source
4. Play

Uninstallation - simply delete the file.

Notes:

Should you decide to tweak XP or prices rates to your liking, you can easily do it. Open .pak file with 7-zip. The actual modded files are those 2 .scr files in respectable folders. They can be edited with any text editor.  Edit and save them using 7-zip. Try it if you know, what you're doing.

Should be compatible with other mods in PAK format. If you do have data4.pak, rename this mod to data5.pak and so on.
