About this mod

MultiCam Retexture of Harpers existing outfit + additional gear added on that bears some resemblance to Crye Precision Combat outfit so the camo fits decently.

<<MultiCam For Harper>> This was a spur of the moment idea because I noticed Harper's outfit looks quite like it came straight from Crye Precision (or a chinese knockoff lol) and although tedious, it was a test for me to see if retexturing Harper was even possible.
That being said, it isn't perfect but it's good enough as my first mod.

Starting off drag and drop data7 into your source folder like any other mod.
Then you need the "010 Editor" to access the files and "inject" textures into the game: https://www.sweetscape.com/download/010editor/ This is the video I followed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q7clS1Kv4RU  credit to "Can" who's tutorials I used and some mod content, link to the scripts in the video description (google drive link), get all 4 files: rp6l_repack, rp6l_unpack, rp6l inject.1sc, and rp6l.bt

Once everything is downloaded, open 010 Editor and click Templates at the top then "view installed templates". Then add rp6l and in the options under filemask put "*.rpack" and then under ID Bytes put "52 50 36 4C" without the quotes. Hit ok and click the Scripts button on the toolbar up top then click open script.

Next: in the console-like window that pops up, click the blue play button on the top right side margin. It will probably say to select a .rpack, hit ok
then navigate to your DL2 Assets folder, mine is located @ E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Dying Light 2\ph\work\data_platform\pc\assets.

Once there chose the file called "common_textures_0_pc.rpack" After opening it, navigate (i the same window that popoped up) to where you put the "MultiCam For Harper" folder, open it, and then click the file "Use This File For 010 Editor" and hit select folder. it should work fairly fast then give a confirmation of being completed.

At this point everything should be all set to play, upon game startup you should see A cammed up Harper chilling at the main menu. Also just know if you mess with the texture files you'll have to reinject the textures back into "common_textures_0_pc.rpack"

Credit to linkthehyliann for letting me use their playable Harper files, also: shoutout to sneed and Bub on the DL2 modding discord for their help pointing me in the right direction.
