Damage Normalization v0.030 - by lyravega
As you advance in survivor levels, your effective melee damage will go down with this mod. This is to make end-game / high level weapons not being able to deal with everything in 1-2 chops. In short, this is to normalize the damage values across the weapons, and make the game harder at late levels, compared to vanilla. You have several percentages to pick from, use the one that suits your game. I personally use 82.5%.

Notes
-Firearms and throwing weapons are NOT affected. This is intentional
-Damage numbers on the weapons will be the same. This is somewhat intentional
-Think of this mod like this: as you level up, zombies will also level up, and will be harder to kill
-May make some boss battles VERY HARD, especially on 75% and above; be aware

Installation
-Not for just this mod, but for any game that you use mods, back your save files up first - and back the entire folder!
(you can find your saves at "...\Steam\userdata\*number*\239140\" folder)
-If you are not using other mods, then place the "Data3.pak" file within the archive to your game folder ("...Steam\Steamapps\Dying Light\DW\")
-If you are using other mods, place the data folder in the archive to your "...Steam\Steamapps\Dying Light\DW\Data3.pak" file
(you need a tool like WinRAR to open and manipulate .pak files the game is using; they are actually .zip files in disguise)
-Alternatively, you can use Simple Pakker to pack yourself a "Data3.pak" (just follow its instructions - but I still recommend WinRAR)
-To uninstall, remove the extracted files

Troubleshooting
-If you are playing with friends, now everyone is required to use same mods - this even includes graphical tweaks... Not sure if Techland is doing a good thing with this change...
-If you cannot join a friend, even with same mods/settings, have him send his "Data3.pak" file to you, or send yours to them; use the same file

Features
-Five different versions; numbers are the reduction of damage at max survivor level (25/50/75/82.5/90%)
-The damage reduction starts out slowly, and reaches maximum at maximum survivor level
