Same here, it seems like it doesn't work with Aranna Legacy mod. I found a comment on the siege site saying you can remove Aranna reset your skills and then place Aranna back again and it worked like a charm for me.
Yes, they both edit the "data_bar.gas" file. If you want to reset your skills, disable your Aranna Legacy Mod first, and then load in and reset your skills. Then, save and close the game, re-enable the Aranna Legacy mod.
I followed the troubleshooting but it didn't work.
I downloaded the All saves version 2.3 (My game indicates that it is version 2.30), install the All saves, put the files in the game folder (for some reasons, the installation didn't allow me to choose the desired location for installing) and run with the new All saves shortcut. It did run the game, but no saves was found, and it crashed just a few seconds later, saying wrong version. Does anyone know why?
There is no "load" optoin in dungeon siege 2. Do you mean convert hero? That doesn't exist either if I install your mod. Does this not work with legendary mod?
hello ! when i make it work, my former save disapear. So i can run a new game and the button is here and work but i can use the mod for my actual save in the veteran difficulty. Is it anything i ca ndo for keep it and use the mod on it ? Tks u
Its on the main page in the description, but I will re-word it to make it more explanatory: TROUBLESHOOTING NOTES: When you install a new mod or change your overrides at all in Dungeon Siege 2 vanilla, it will make the game filter out your characters that were saved with a different override order, but your pre-existing characters are not gone. If you have this error, read on to fix it:
1.) If this mod makes your saves disappear after installing it, keep it installed and then check your version of the game at the main menu at the bottom left. Close the game.
2.) Now just install Dungeon Siege 2 AllSaves (DS2 AllSaves) for your corresponding game's version, then launch the game up with the new AllSaves .exe file now present inside of the game's root folder instead of the default game launcher, you can now see ALL the saves that are on your machine even the ones that were hidden when you changed your game's mod load order by installing a new mod.
3.) Then just pick the save you want, load it up, save the game, then exit the game completely and now and you can re-launch without AllSaves and your save should be visible again. This is what's called making a "clean save" of a pre-existing yet now missing game save. This can be done for all of your game saves, once you get a final mod load in order that you don't want to change and you're happy with, then do this process for your desired game saves so they're all "patched" to your current mod load.
Addendum.) You only have to launch up with AllSaves so that you can perform the clean save. You can continue with the default launcher after you finish cleaning your pre-existing saves, or you can even just start using AllSaves to play as well, instead. Its fully compatible with multiplayer.
I modified this to include the DLC characters. I contacted OP but they haven't responded so i'll just post a link to the modification. https://github.com/iBoonie/DS2BW-ResetPoints
How to use this.... ? I put the installer in the game dictionary and install it but it wont install inside the dictionary folder..I mean it installed on the other hard drive...any idea ?
Resets the skills but not the powers. You can't use the powers but the icons remains as they can be used. Resolve this problem and is a Perfect mod that is a must.
