Playing through the game I found the Chants of Prosperity quite inconvenient. Even with the best one, you still have to run back to an Incantation Shrine every 5 minutes to refresh the effect. There is absolutely no reason not to do it if you want to max out your drops and gold find, but interrupting your gameplay every 5 minutes, going through at least 2 teleport transitions, walking over the the shrine, casting it, not to mention losing 50 seconds of the duration just teleporting back to the spot where you left off or the duration ticking away during conversations etc. etc, it can get old and annoying pretty fast.

As realistically, the Prosperity Chants are the only ones worth running non-stop, I decided to just mod it to my liking. The changes made are:

Lesser Chant of Prosperity:
Duration increased to 1600 seconds.

Chant of Prosperity:
Duration increased to 2400 seconds.

Greater Chant of Prosperity:
Duration increased to 3600 seconds.

Also, as this will make it so that you are under the effects of the chant pretty much all the time, I decided to remove the annoying visual effect associated with these chants. Having it permanently stuck on your characters and obscuring the models is honestly pointless. You can still see the duration when you hover over the chant effect on the character portraits.

The entries in the lore section still say the original numbers, but when you cast them, you will get them with the increased duration.

The purpose of this mod is not cheating and as such, the actual Gold and Magic find bonuses the chants give are untouched. The main goal is to simply prevent having to keep constantly refreshing it every 5 minutes.

Installation:
Extract and drop the .ds2res file into the Resources folder in the game's install folder.

Uninstallation:
Remove the .ds2res file.
