RTC - Rapid Tank Creator v2.1
RTC - Rapid Tank Creator 2 is a commandline utility intended to create tank files as used in Gas Powered Games Dungeon Siege. It takes an input directory and stores it's contents in a single tank file, compressing the data to save diskspace. The program comes with a frontend to allow quick and easy configuration.
To create custom content for Dungeon Siege it is not necessary (or intended) to repack the resource files that come with the game. Instead you should put only the modified and new files to the source directory tree and create a tank from them. If you copy that tank file to the Resources directory in your Dungeon Siege folder, the new files should override the original data.
Furthermore, to avoid any potential misinterpretations, it must be noted that the RTC.exe file has not undergone any form of tampering. Rapid Tank Creator 2 does not employ a pirated or modified version of the Rapid Tank Creator software. While TankCreator2 is modeled after the original TankCreator, it deviates from its predecessor in several significant ways.
