I have come up with a simple script that allows a toggle key for opening/closing the map.

I have come up with a simple script that allows a toggle key for opening/closing the map.
Instructions:
When starting DunDef, in the configuration, set the show map key to Numpad0.
During the game, press Left Shift to open the map, and again to close it.
NOTE: Left Shift can be changed to Tab in the source file by following the instructions in the file. This would require that your chat key be change in the configuration of DunDef (I reccomend 'Enter'), this also means that in the source file you would need to follow the instructions on changing the chat key (as this allows the script to disable the map toggle key while chat is open)
