Select Unreal Engine variables are tuned to increase FPS while preserving — or even improving — visual fidelity. - Anti-Cheat Safe
This mod does not interact with executable files, memory, or any protected game logic. It only modifies user-accessible config files, making it safe for online use under current anti-cheat rules.
- Download and unzip the included Engine.zip file.
- Navigate to: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\DuneSandbox\Saved\Config\WindowsClient
- Backup your existing Engine.ini file.
- Replace it with the provided Engine.ini.
Tip: If the file doesn't apply properly, ensure the game isn't running and double-check the path. Some systems may hide file extensions by default.
Extra Tip:For best results, add the Dune: Awakening executable to Windows Graphics Settings and set it to High Performance. This ensures the game uses your dedicated GPU and avoids performance bottlenecks on hybrid systems like laptops.
