it works amazingly well for both Old and Modern CPU'S, INTEL OR RYZEN it doesn't matter.
This mod is a simple registry File which alters the CPU priority for Dragons Dogma 2,
and does Less Stuttering at City and Towns

CHANGELOG:
update 2.2: uninstaller now completely removes the Whole DD2.EXE (folder) Key from the registry, that means my mod is removed without any traces, completely clean, reverted by to the original how the registry has been.
update 3.0: changed uninstaller from cmd file to Registry file for easier uninstall.
WHAT IT DOES
This mod is a simple registry File which alters the CPU priority for Dragons Dogma 2,
you can do this manually via task manager, it's a temporary one that means you need to do every time when your game starts annoying isn't it.
this is a simple fix that automatically enables CPU Priority to "High." every time your game starts.

THINGS TO MAKE SURE
1.make sure no application is running, chrome, edge, discord, whatever it may be, check system tray at the bottom right and close all apps in it,
2. check task manager and close CPU consuming apps,
3. works best with no apps is running beside dragons' dogma 2
4. works best with DLSS Frame Gen mod but RTX 4000 series is required for frame gen mod (not this mod).
5. Restart your freaking pc after applying the mod

What I can Guarantee you guys? well, these are the possible scenario Due to Different CPU'S which you guys have.
1. Guarantee 5 - 10 fps in Cities and Towns and Outside for most people.
2. Guarantee 1 - 2 fps in Cities and Towns and Outside for some people.
3. Can't Guarantee any fps gain for some people, but I can Guarantee Reduced Stuttering.
PRO'S OF USING THIS MOD
please share, let everyone know what a wonderful fix is this, it might be a simple fix, but the pros are here,
1. takes 1 KB of space.
2. Provided a uninstall option to remove the D word Value from registry safe no problems.
3. Automatically sets the priority when the game starts.
4, this does not cause any harm or mess with other registry files, as mentioned, the uninstall file option provided in downloads
5. and you know what its 80% effective based on the comments I received.
Installation:
1. Extract the Archive
2. Double click the File and Press Run
3. Press Yes and press Yes again, press ok when Prompt.
4. RESTART YOUR PC FOR CHANGES TO APPLY

1. Open regedit (Type regedit in the search bar on the taskbar, then select Registry)
2. navigate to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\DD2.EXE\PerfOptions]
3. delete d word file called "CpuPriorityClass" on the right-hand side, simple.
-IMPORTANT-
1. setting in steam launch option "-high" does not work for this game!!!! so please free to use my mod.
2. This mod works for Old and Modern CPU's Tested mine Ryzen 7 7700x, Intel as well as AMD old CPU'S, certain people with I5 and Ryzen 5 processer gain massive performance increase, please see the comment sections.
