Restyles Marcher's Armor into somewhat a proper form of a knight's armor. Inspired by Dark Souls Knight armors. Works for both male and female.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Reframework
2. MeshModEnabler
INSTALLATION:
Just drop 'the reframework' folder inside the game directory. If you know how to install reframework then you know what this sentence means.
CONTEXT:
This one's pretty much a MeshModEnabler JSON preset to transmog an armor. There are 2 JSON files for each gender which changes the Marcher's Armor and Helmet, does the following:
1. Adds Guardian's Plate as a submesh for the pauldrons to the Marcher's Armor, replaces its original one and changes the innerwear into Valiant armor's. (Goddammit i really miss DD1 armor system.)
2. Adds a chainmail coif from the Iron Helmet as a submesh to the Marcher's Helmet.
LIMITATION:
1. The pauldron behaves the same as the Guardian's Plate. Means if you have a shield it will hide the right pauldron just the same. It also hides both if you wear certain mantles. There's this mod called 'Symmetrical Armor', which displays the pauldron with shields on but still doesn't work ever since the last game update.
2. Any clippings, minor or major. There's a reason why they don't put these things together :v.
WHY?:
I'm a fan of knight armors, plain and simple. Marcher's armor is the one that resembles them the best other than the long waistcoats. So i tried to find a way to put Marcher body model and Guardian pauldron together. Then i came across MeshModEnabler tutorial and the rest is history. The same for the Marcher's helmet. The only thing i don't like about it is the exposed neck that screams 'PLEASE CUT HERE'. So i decided to put a chainmail coif with it.
CREDITS WHERE THEY'RE DUE:
1. CAPCOM - For the amazing game, regardless what the bitchers out there say.
2. alphaZomega - Mesh Mod Enabler, EMV-Engine, and the JSON tutorial.
