INTRODUCTION
An Assassin themed vocation inspired by Final Fantasy series, Ghost of Tsushima & Black Myth: Wukong. The skills found in this vocation are reimagined with the available skills/assets found in Dragon's Dogma 2, using Skill Maker by alphaZomega.

The vocation will have 3 main fighting techniques:
  • Samurai Techniques (Aggressive)
  • Ninja Techniques (Evasive)
  • Forbidden Arts (Magic)
  • Recommend using 1-handed swords for this vocation (with or without shield)
  • Certain skills have AOE damage that may hit nearby friendly units

This vocation aims to create an agile, flexible & versatile fighting style

SKILLS ABILITIES

  • All physical skills have multiple strikes
  • The final strikes of all physical skills will warp/teleport to a nearby enemy (within range)
  • All skills (other than Telekinesis, Indomitable Spirit & Realm of the Abyss) can cancel each other out at any moment, unless limited by aerial capability or incapacitation


SAMURAI TECHNIQUES
Moon Strike

  • Element: THUNDER
  • Type: Execution
  • Limitation: Ground
  • A forward barge (flitch target), followed by a quick slash & 3 horizontal strikes
  • Can be executed without weapon drawn
  • Effective at clearing groups of enemies

Coup de Grace

  • Element: THUNDER
  • Type: Finisher
  • Limitation: Ground
  • Teleports to a nearby enemy, followed by a barge (flitch target) & a devastating blow, further erupting with a seismic blast to a nearby enemy
  • Can be executed without weapon drawn
  • Effective at finishing staggered enemies or dealing enormous damage


NINJA TECHNIQUES
Shift Stab

  • Element: ICE
  • Type: Speed
  • Limitation: Ground
  • 3 quick consecutive stabs, with the final one blasting off with magical damage
  • Effective at piercing through armored & rocky enemy types

Air Slash

  • Element: ICE
  • Type: Aerial
  • Limitation: Ground
  • A heavy upper slash followed by a magical ice aerial slash 
  • Effective against flying & large enemies

Explosive Suriken


  • Element: FIRE
  • Type: Range
  • Limitation: Ground & Aerial
  • A quick explosive suriken thrown at a nearby target
  • Effective against flying, armored & rocky enemy types

Fan of Explosives


  • Element: FIRE
  • Type: Range
  • Limitation: Ground & Aerial
  • A quick evasive upward jump followed by throwing 3 fire explosives & summoning an arc of dark magic explosives
  • The 3 fire explosives can be controlled by changing the camera angle
  • Effective against groups of weaker enemies

Air Hazard

  • Element: FIRE
  • Type: Aerial
  • Limitation: Ground
  • A quick dodge forward followed by a tossing strike, an aerial magical pierce & a final aerial fire slash
  • Effective against lightweight (can be tossed), flying & large enemies

Infernal Strike

  • Element: FIRE
  • Type: Execution
  • Limitation: Ground & Aerial
  • A quick evasive upward jump followed by an aerial spin attack & piercing down with a magical blast, further erupting with a burst of flame (if landed on ground)
  • Effective against groups or landing onto large enemies

Sleep Gas

  • Non-elemental
  • Type: Survival
  • Limitation: Ground & Aerial
  • A quick evasive upward jump followed by a smoke & sleep gas bomb throw
  • Effective for escaping or against groups of enemies

Parry Strike

  • Non-elemental
  • Type: Counter
  • Limitation: Ground
  • Enters a defensive stance (consumes stamina while active) which will parry a target's attack with a shift slash

Evasive Strike

  • Non-elemental
  • Type: Counter
  • Limitation: Ground
  • A quick roll back dodge followed by 3-4 dashing forward slashes

Evade

  • Type: Survival
  • Can be executed at any moment
  • A forward phasing dodge that will evade any incoming attacks
  • Can also be used to prevent fall damage

Ninja Jump

  • Type: Exploration
  • A quick double-jump that reaches far greater heights
  • Can be executed after flipping action to jump again (before falling animation)

Ninja Leap

  • Type: Exploration
  • A quick forward phasing-jump that covers long distances
  • Can be executed after flipping action to jump again (before falling animation)

Darkborn Jump

  • Type: Exploration
  • An enhanced Ninja Jump that reaches even greater heights

Darkborn Leap

  • Type: Exploration
  • An enhanced Ninja Leap that covers even longer distances


FORBIDDEN ARTS
Chakra

  • Type: Magic
  • Limitation: Ground
  • Heal & cure

Adrenaline Rush

  • Type: Magic
  • Limitation: Ground
  • Barrier & haste

Telekinesis

  • Type: Magic
  • Limitation: Ground
  • Lifting nearby lightweight enemies (immobile) & objects before lashing unto nearby enemies

Fire Blade

  • Element: FIRE
  • Type: Magic
  • Limitation: Ground
  • A forward fire elemental slash followed by a cast of short flame & fire boon

Energy Bomb

  • Element: FIRE, ICE, THUNDER
  • Type: Utility
  • Limitation: Ground
  • Planting of bomb followed by an evasive jump backwards & denotation of bomb in mid-air
  • Effective against groups, armored & rocky enemies
  • Use with Evade to prevent denotation of bomb

Indomitable Spirit

  • Type: Magic
  • Limitation: Ground
  • A forbidden art that casts invincibility at the cost of health
  • Boosts stamina recovery & eliminates the use of all skills for 30 seconds
  • Unlocks Realm of the Abyss

Realm of the Abyss

  • Non-elemental
  • Type: Finisher
  • Limitation: Ground
  • Enters the realm of darkness followed by a 2x heavy cut that slices into the very heart of the abyss, erupting & unleashing unimageable darkness
  • 0 stamina costs
  • Only usable while Indomitable Spirit is active


INSTALLATION
  • Follow the instructions in Skill Maker & install all its requirements (including REFrameworkFluffy Mod Manager & _ScriptCore)
  • Download this file
  • Extract its content into ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Dragons Dogma 2\reframework\data\SkillMaker



  • Make sure the contents & folders inside Skills & Skillsets go directly into the SkillMaker folders respectively
  • Overwrite everything if you have previously downloaded The Forbidden Samurai


USAGE

  • While in game, press INS to load up REFramework UI
  • Navigate down to SkillMaker
  • Under Skillsets, click on the dropdown list & select The Darkborn Assassin
  • Check "Clear Skills on Load"
  • Press Load & you should see the skills being loaded to each button allocation
  • Feel free to change the skills to any button allocation you see fit
  • Not advisable to change the folders & names of the skills (will affect codes used in the skills)
