INTRODUCTION
I want to love Dragon's Dogma 2 so, so badly. However, there are just a few things about it that annoy me, and one of them is the limits placed on fast travel. Given that you can hardly walk 30 seconds without getting jumped by goblins or bandits, it'd be a little nice for fast travel to be more accessible. Unfortunately, you can only get 6 Portcrystals during the game (unless you're a loser and bought the DLC 7th one), which means that, even if you can get your hands on more Ferrystones, your destinations are severely limited. I'm a busy guy. I don't have time to walk everywhere, especially when, frankly, exploring can be tedious and time-consuming at times. At the same time, though, mods that gave you infinite Ferrystones or let you teleport via hotkey felt like cheating to me. No offense meant towards those mods, of course - just not the way I'd like to play the game. Thus, this mod was born.
DETAILS
Fast Travel Economy Overhaul adds Ferrystones and Portcrystals to various vendors all over the game world. Not all of them will carry these items; I decided only to give them to vendors who'd make sense to carry them. You wouldn't buy them from a blacksmith, but an apothecary would carry them. A few wandering merchants will also carry Ferrystones, though their stock will be a bit more limited than fully-fledged shops.
Ferrystones cost 500 G, whereas Portcrystals cost 5000 G. While you'll likely have to choose between some new gear or traveling supplies at the beginning of the game, you'll have easier and easier access to fast travel as the game goes on.
INSTALLATION
Place the Fast Travel Economy Overhaul's .pak file into [your Fluffy Mod Manager folder]/Games/DragonsDogma2/Mods. Make sure to enable it in Fluffy Mod Manager.
This is my first Dragon's Dogma 2 mod, and my first attempt at any mod for a game built on the RE Engine. Please let me know if there are any issues and I will attempt to resolve them.
