There is an ability that I love and find super fun and that is using the shield to mitigate the fall damage of the fighter's vocation, as if you were Damn Captain America falling from a height.

The vanilla version only offers a 10 percent drop reduction, and there are several modders who have made different mods to modify the different vocations, and increase the damage reduction of this skill.

But along with that change they adjust other abilities that I don't like, such as making the archer shoot more arrows, extending the running distances of some ability that, when failing, leaves me on the edge of a cliff or modifying the frames of the different parrys by removing the perfect timing that a parry should have.

Furthermore, even if the damage reduction is increased to 100%, the Arizen will still die when falling from a certain height, Vanilla has a fall limit, which more or less to get an idea is a distance from the waist of the Gigantus Talos to the ground , anything higher than that distance will kill you.

For that reason I have created a preset for Fall Damage Manager that allows you to throw yourself with your shield from a great height without dying. This only applies to using it with the shield, if you jump without it or with any vocation you will die.

There are different options, I suggest watching the video to check the damage obtained with each of them.

Requirements.

You can install only damage reduction, without installing REFramework or Fall Damage Manager, but as I mentioned above, falling from a certain height will still kill you, I highly recommend using the preset.

How to install

Important: You must download the .zip file with the damage reduction you want and the .zip preset for Fall Damage Manager.

• Select the damage reduction you want to have: full, 90, 80 or 70.
• Install it with Fluffy Mod Manager
• Install Fall Damage Manager (Requires REFramework)
• Install Captain America Style – Fall Damage Manager Preset
• Open REFramework, and from the Fall Damage Manager menu, load the preset.
• To enjoy!
  

Uninstallation.
Simply use Fluffy Mod Manager to uninstall damage reduction and the preset.


Compatibility

It is not compatible with any mod that modifies the job01parameter.user.2 file.

It is compatible with Gameplay UWU, highly recommended.
