Long story short, I use Tellah9's Increased Spells LockOn' Range mod, but they explicitly said they wouldn't make the same for any other vocation.
I wanted more range as a Magick Archer so I made this myself.
It doubles the Lock-On range for the Magick Bow, and as far as I'm aware it also increases the range of the skills too... but it isn't perfect, since the projectiles can only travel a certain distance from the player before despawning, so effectiveness varies between skills. Maximum lock-on range is a little further than the projectiles can travel.
Additionally I considerably reduced the penalty for aiming at night or at targets in tall grass.
INSTALLATION: Drag the 7z file into Fluffy Mod Manager. Then flip the little switch that appears.
Compatibility: Should only interfere with other mods that tamper with Magick Bow range.
DISCLAIMER: I'm an utter Amateur with modding this game. I just used Synthlight's DD2 Editor to make this mod and it sorta seems to work so I figured I'd share it. But if you need someone to troubleshoot, don't expect too much of me. And I absolutely won't make variants of this (so no 50% range / 3x range / etc) ... though I might fix things wrong with it if I can figure out how.
