I HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING SILVEREZREDES' MOD IF YOU WANT TO RECOLOUR STUFF. I'VE BEEN USING IT SINCE IT'S RELEASE IN THE DISCORD AND IT'S SUPER EASY.
i only did these cause i was tired of studying for my exam. so if you leave a request don't expect me to get to them since it's exam season.
i highly recommend joining the discord and following the instructions to do it yourself if you really want something done.
there are multiple files i included. fair warning. i havent used this process and havent touched some of these files in a while so they might not work as intended.
TOPS:
black soaring: makes the soaring surcoat black. For some reason the low textures override the high res textures when paking. so there are two versions of this.
Regular version which includes low textures. This is for players that play on low textures
High res version that doesn't include some low res textures so it can't override. i havent tested much so im not aware of any issues. lmk if there are.
black soulskin: makes the soulskin black. (some parts i couldn't change black, like the chainmail on the chest, because the file is either hardcoded to the game or is used by another armor which i cannot find)
elven fix: the chainmail sleeves from the elven armor share the same texture as soulskin so this is optional for the black soulskin. once again pick your poison. the only other character that will wear the elven armor is the leader of the elves so i doubt it'll come up much.
HELMS:
black veil: makes the oracular veil black
veil mask only: gets rid of the jewels and other parts that aren't part of the mask. place in DD2 directory to install. also have MME installed. one of my first MME mods. place let me know if there are issues.
black dragon knight: makes the dragon knight helm black
black cavalier: makes the cavalier hat black
black ruminant/farseer: for some reason the game makes farseer use ruminant's textures and vice versa. but i named the files accordingly so there isn't any mixup.
black laurel: makes laurel circlet black
MANTLES:
Black sentinel cloak: makes the sentinel coat black
black winbreaking cloak: i used the mdf method with this. there might be issues like parts of the cloak disappearing. if so, unequip, exit menu and reequip to fix. might take a few tries and mixing some steps.
PANTS:
black evergreen: makes the evergreen greaves black
these mods will be incompatible with mods that change the pieces' looks
