About this mod

Simple lightweight reshade preset aimed in getting rid of the yellowy-tint feel of the gameworld and attempts for better contrast while not being resource heavy

When setting up this Reshade preset, I put ALL Options>Display>Brightness settings on the MIDDLE of the slider. Then I tweaked those same settings after I was done. So if you don't quite like the outcome, try brighter or darker settings in the games options as well!
I'm now currently on bright as possible with the darkness slider being 3 from the left and the final slider being all the way left. ^^

Also different monitors, colour profiles etc etc. Even still, I hope this works nicely for you!

Installation;

  • Download REFramework
  • Install the latest Reshade version
  • Additionally to install Reshade, run the program, click browse and locate your DD2.exe inside of your games install directory, select directx10/11/12 and check all of the effect packages (in the top right, may have to click uncheck all then check all again) then click next to finish the Reshade install of Dragon's Dogma 2.
  • You'll need to move your "reshade-shaders" folder and your preset .ini files from the root folder of DD2 (Where DD2.exe is) and into the "_storage_" folder so that Reshade works with the current version of REFramework.
  • Download my Reshade preset via this page and then put it into the _storage_ folder (\Dragons Dogma 2\_storage_)

Once you load the game, let Reshade load and then open Reshade (Home key by default), select "Jeirvo's Reshade" from the dropdown at the top and you should then see these selected;

(tip: in Reshade UI, go to settings and check "Show only enabled effects". Unless you want to mess around with effects yourself of course!)

I have very quickly tested the performance hit of this Reshade and I barely saw a 4.5% gpu utilisation increase (On a 3070 Ti) and didn't see any FPS difference, but alas more testing is probably required and I'm sure there will be FPS hits in certain areas/fights. Please do let me know if you find anything out of the ordinary with the performance hit!
