OVERVIEW

This mod very simply takes weapons and armor from shops, and hand places them into the world. Items are placed mostly in caves, but can also be found in chests above ground. Item's are not arbitrarily placed either, but have been inserted into chests that are commensurate with the difficulty of getting to the chest. If you find a special chest behind a Chimera, odds are it will no longer contain dried meat.

Shops still have items, but mostly one item per vocation. Dudley, the Nameless Apothecary, and Chandler of Harve have been lumped into a "tier 1" shop. These shops will sell items that are 1 step up from the starter weapons. The shops in Vernworth are another step up. Celeste's is another step up from Vernworth, and then Grisa sells some interesting items. All of the gear you find in Vermund is better than shops you can find in tier 1 shops or Vernworth. Almost no items are worse than what you can find in Celeste's. And very few items are worse than what Grisa Sells.

The shops in Battahl similarly have 1 item per vocation, but are generally better than any items you'll find in Vermund, making it a good starting place to visit before looting Battahl proper. Items within Battahl and beyond are better than ANY SHOP IN THE GAME. The Volcanic shop and the Dwarf shop have been changed to include loot from Vermund as a "catch up." Venders in the unmoored world no longer gain new items when they move to the Seafloor Shrine.

Some original items have been moved, and a couple item's have had their stats swapped with other items to retain the balance of their new locations, though this is RARE.

An example of stat swapping would Favored Flower and Favored Canopy. Favored Flower, being only 2 steps up from the starter staff, would simply end up in Vernworth's shops. Anchor to Heaven, which is 3 steps up, would end up with Celeste. Favored Canopy, which is 4 steps up, would remain in the wild, while Unfettered Flaw, which is 5 steps up, would also be found in the wild. To keep familiarity with shop items and have the Favored weapons remain as cool items to find, they've had their stats swapped around so that now; Favored Canopy is 5 steps up, Favored Flower is 4 steps up, Unfettered Claw is 3 steps up and found at Celeste, and Achor to heaven is 2 steps up and found at Roderick.

CHANGES

Where exactly every item is located and which of the few items have had their stats swapped around will be included here... later! About a week from this update, I'll have a link to a google sheet with all the changes. Half of the reason for waiting is because I don't want to spoil them yet, and the other half is that the document I've been using to keep track is not presentable, and making a clean change log with so many changes will take time.

You may also notice that Trickster items haven't really been touched. This is mostly because I don't know enough about the vocation to understand what's good (yet), I had A LOT of items to move already, and many Tricker items are already placed in really good spots.

Also, Pants largely remain in their original shops and locations. Pant's are generally the weirder armor option, so it's not as clear cut where they should go. Also, pants can be critical for looks, so being able to still find them reliably in shops feels better. Major class specific "super pants" are still found as loot. Also, misc items like capes and cloaks are completely untouched, meaning they can all be found in their original shop locations, for much the same reason pants are.

*Version 1.3 has VASTLY improved the looting experience in Vermund. Many chests that felt like they definitely should have something other than Wakestone Shards or Fine Harspud Roborant should have had something new added to them. Users using 1.2 MAY miss items in Vermund if they have already looted chests in Vermund, as some items have been moved to more appropriate places, but these instances are rare.

COMPATIBILITY

This mod IS compatible with most mods. Any mod that changes things via a SCRIPT is compatible.

Examples include:
* Higher Item Sell Price
* Item Zero Weight
* Better Better Item Description
* Lucky Scavenger
* Better Chests
* No Job Requirements REF options

This mod is NOT compatible with mods that change items, armor, or shops via a .pak file, or completely remove the original items from chests.

Examples include:
* Completely Random Chest
* Early n' Cheap Art of Metamorphosis

MISC.

Verify the mod is installed:
Some people have asked if there's a way they can verify the mod is working, other than looking into shops, while I put together the change list. To verify, check the tower in Melve. The chest that once gave a Fluted Bow should now give a Lupine Bow.

Changes in 1.3.2:
Added some more duplicate items to chests in Vermund to fill more of them out.
Swapped Favored Branches vanilla spawn with a dagger spawn inside of Waterfall Cave.
Fixed some old spawns from 1.2 showing up still.

Changes in 1.3.1:
Version 1.3.1 fixes a bug related to loot in the Tomb of Al'Guttos.

Thanks:
A HUGE thanks to the modding community over on the Modding Haven Discord, especially LordGregory. This mod would not have been possible without them.
