About this mod
Allows changing the scale of the player character and player-owned pawns
- Requirements
- Permissions and credits
It also allows gradual scaling of a character up/down over time. The game deals surprisingly well with scaling down in the 0.7-1.0 and scaling up in the 1.0-1.5 range in terms of animations.
This mod is presented AS IS. There will be no updates, requests or support.
That said, I might update the mod if I feel like it. If anyone wants to use the code and/or improve on the mod, feel free to do so, but please credit me using my Nexus Mods username.
Known Issues:
- Config is correctly loaded but not applied on game startup, to apply config, simply untick and tick the enable box in the mods GUI section
- Extreme sizes (starting below 0.5 or above ~50) will cause animation, clothing, and lighting weirdness. I cannot do anything about it.
- Gradual size change may get into a bugged state sometimes, resetting the pawn/player using the corresponding button in the GUI usually resolves this.
- When changing the player's scale, the camera position does not scale. Use a different mod to alter the camera, or use REFramework GUI's free cam.
Installation:
- Install REFramework
- Put this mods .zip into Fluffy Mod Manager's Mods folder
- Install using Fluffy Mod Manager
There are probably many more bugs here, but this mod was created to see if it was possible to change the scale of gameobjects (since REFramework's documentation doesn't mention transform scaling). Since I already made it to satisfy my curiosity, I decided to also upload it.
- I hate lua.
