About this mod
This ReShade preset is intended for HDR users. It fixes the raised black floor, increases contrast in shadowed regions, brightens midtones while expanding contrast, and improves contrast in highlights without raising the max nits set in-game. Color saturation is boosted slightly to make better use of HDR while adhering to a vanilla look.

This preset was made targeting HDR1000 displays. You may need to recalibrate for other luminance targets.
There is an HDR screenshot gallery in the miscellaneous files.
This preset makes use of Lilium's HDR Black Floor Fix, Prod80's Shadows Midtones and Highlights, and Lilium's HDR CAS (optional, ideal for DLSS/FSR2 users).
Install Instructions
- Download REFramework by selecting DD2.zip from the latest release. This is required to fix Dragon's Dogma 2 crashing when ReShade is injected.
* If you end up with severe performance issues, try the latest nightly build instead. - Copy only dinput8.dll from DD2.zip and place it in your Dragon's Dogma 2 install directory.
* There's an option within REFramework under "Configuration" to "remember menu open/close state" - Download ReShade.
- Run the installer:
Select the game
Select DirectX 10/11/12
Select Lilium's and Prod80s shaders at minimum - Drop in the BetterHDR.ini file that you downloaded from this page into your Dragon's Dogma 2 install directory.
- Boot up the game, open the ReShade menu, and select the preset file from the dropdown near the top.
- *OPTIONAL* Disable vignette in REFramework. It very aggressively darkens edges, and also affects colors and luminance across the whole screen.
