I hope I run across your pawn, Keth, in my travels so I can adventure with him and give you gifts. :-)
I am still debating sharing Keth, probably as I ease into things - I will DM you the ID if I do share. I am not a good player in general (bad at combat, I make choices based on role playing not min/max power, poor equipment, slow leveler, etc.) so not sure why anyone would want to use him anyhow - except I do consider him sort of handsome even if his shoulders are two broad and bulgy but I like big guys so meh :) He's a fighter. Not sure if I will spec him into warrior. I mean I want to - big barbarian swinging a two handed great sword is so me ... but I also need him to survive well as my main tank.
I do have some really sexy chars I made but since you can only have one main pawn, and one save going, Keth is the only one I can share for now.
Also I must say I think its so romantic and sweet you and your hubby play and share pawns and sort of cross-game that way. I think that is so great!
Every day I play I like the game more and more. It is so immersive. Other games in comparison have started feeling a little artificial. So many great design decisions IMO around the world. Like not knowing the elven language right off, really good physics - you don't just walk into a tree, you put out your hands and push yourself back from it. Details like that make the world feel so much more real and cooler.
Also I LOVE the thief when he climbs up and does his little somersault. Major show off and I adore it. Then all the details with camping, food going bad, lanterns at night really being needed, etc.I could go on but you know what I am talking about I am sure.
I never played DD1 as I was so put off by the combat and HP sponge bosses. I almost didn't get this game for the same reason - no difficulty settings, one save ... two things I hate ... but the CC won me over enough to try it (as I do like brawny guys and they really did a nice job on them in the game ... although they could use a bit of a bulge in one certain area that was bypassed --cough-- way too flat :P)
Anyhow I ramble. Point is I will deal with the combat one way or another as the rest of the game is simply awesome. I see now why so many are fans.
Yes, I love the little somersault I do when climbing! I tried the archer for a few levels in order to do a quest (and to get a couple of those passives at level 4 that you can use no matter what profession you switch to) and I felt clunky and even worse at combat. I might train on different things to get a feel for them but, right now, thief all the way.
I was surprised that we can't change the bulge at all, since you are able to change breast size. All of those character creation options and no bulge sizing... that definitely needs to be patched in. LoL
Again, so happy that you are having so much fun with it. :-)
adding: Good luck with Screenshots tools (I know it can be annoying to deal with in a new game) Camera unlocker & Future Reshades etc lol :)
