About this mod

Have you ever felt that End Game 1H Swords lack Elemental Damage? Well I have. Here's a fix for that. :)

Warning: I own the GOG version of Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen, so Steam version not tested.
If you face any issues, please, report it in the comment section and I will try to help you fixing it.
You should always backup your vanilla game files before swaping them to modded files.
Your should also always maintain backups of your save files, just for safety.
You're warned. :)

End Game Elemental Swords (1H) is a mod that gives end game one handed swords varied elements.

I made this because I always felt that end game one handed swords in Gransys and Bitterblack Isle lack elemental damage.
In the idea of making them also have elemental damage, each sword has a faithful element based on its name and description.

Devilsbane =
The bane of all devils, therefore, the Holy Element fits it.

Cursed Bite =
A cut that hurts as a bite that curses, therefore, Dark Element fits it.

Dragon's Dogma =
The dogma in which the Arisen is struck in, to face the fire of the Dragon infinitely, therefore, Fire Element fits it.

Carnation =
The slice that cuts all defenses as cold breaks all elements, therefore, Ice Element fits it.

Crossed Cinquedea =
A sword that pierces all, even dragon scales. Just like the thunder pierces the skies, therefore, Lightning Element fits it.

Rusted Sword =
Rust brings all diceases and the rust may take all enemies which are struck by that blade. Therefore Dark Element plus all Debilitations that I could add to it.
(This is by no means balanced and it's just a joke edit. Thus, I made it have 0 STR attack power, but 250 Dark Elemental damage, but it applies all Debilitations to enemies.)

You may consider them unbalanced, so please, let me know if you disagree with their stats and feel free suggest your ideas. :)
Also feel free to request a version of weapon for you, if it's possible, I will try to do it.

» A recommendation to be used with this mod:
Devilsbane into Godsbane by user Waidas.
All the body of the Devilsbane shines with Holy Element and it's a beautiful sword to play with agaisnt stronger enemies.

Thank you very much for reading until here and, please I ask humbly, consider donating, sharing, and also supporting the other modders on the Acknowledgments list if you feel in your heart to.

Thank you very much!

I've been going through a hard moment financially, so I decided to use my field of study (coding, programming, tech, cybersecurity) to make mods and study games and how they work and help the community the way I can. I don't have much to offer for now, as you can probably see, but you can check my scripts for DDDA modding, my other simple DDDA ideas, and for now, this one.
Depending on how the situation goes, I will try to create my own mods and keep researching on reverse engineering this awesome game. I don't like to need to do this, but it's one of the few ways right now I can help myself.

If you'd like and feel in your heart, you can donate through my Ko-Fi page: https://ko-fi.com/ryleskeys

Thank you very much for your comprehension...
