About this mod
Do you remember when spells names used to be exciting? Do you remember when monsters used to sound threatening? This mod brings back names like Ice Bolt, Lightning Storm, Firebane, and Blaze. It also changes monsters to wyvern, red dragon, and axe knight. So, if you want to Return (not Zoom) to Dragon Warrior, this mod is for you.

CHANGES
This mod makes changes to:
Spell names (69 total)
Pep Power and Skill names (82 total)
Monster names (145 total)
Item and miscellaneous names (7 total)
The purpose of this mod is to incorporate some of the old names from Dragon Warrior 1-4 and Dragon Quest 5-8 back into 11. It does not change all the names, but it attempts to make some names more logical and familiar. It is also intended to reduce the use of puns within the game.
A list of changes can be found under documentation.
INSTALLATION
Extract the pak file from the archive and place in the following directory:
C:\Steam\steamapps\common\DRAGON QUEST XI S\Game\Content\Paks
The drive letter and Steam folder may be different for your system.
