This mod allows the Hero to start the game with a Cypress Stick instead of the Cobblestone Sword and Greatsword --- which you can earn before the Hero sets off on his adventure.

This mod allows the Hero to start the game with a Cypress Stick instead of the Cobblestone Sword and Greatsword --- which you can earn before the Hero sets off on his adventure.
This was originally the beginning of my Weapons and Equipment Revamp. I thought I should share it plainly.
I always thought it strange that the Hero begins with a Sword or Greatsword at the start of the game. He's a common villager. And why would you ever use that stick you picked up later, when you have such a strong weapon?
So, I tweaked it to have you start with a stick. But when the village learns of your power and journey, you are then granted with their Sword and Greatsword to begin your adventure --- alongside all the other goods you get before leaving.

Spoiler:
The Cobblestone Sword and Greatsword are now found in Cobblestone's Item Shop: so get them while supplies last.
You can also find a special gift where a certain cypress stick use to lay. That should make getting the swords not a problem.
