This mod requires DQXIHook (standalone link below)

Included is a zipped "Characters" folder which contains a large set of cooked Unreal Engine 4 (UE4) asset files. The only way to load these files is to have DQXIHook installed. We have found this method to work more reliably than renderer injection.

Download the standalone file for DQXIHook from the link above and extract it to your installation directory:  <steamapps>\common\DRAGON QUEST XI\Game\Binaries\Win64\
(where <steamapps> is typically C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\  )

Note: SpecialK users will want to check the instructions in the link above, where it is suggested to rename the new "dxgi.dll" to "dinput8.dll" instead. Then, add this section to the end of "dxgi.ini" in the same directory:

You can check to see that DQXIHook is working by pressing the Tilde (~) key in-game: a console should pop up at the bottom of the screen.

Once you have DQXIHook squared away, unpack the "Characters" folder included with this mod to: <steamapps>\common\DRAGON QUEST XI\Game\Content\

If everything is done correctly, you should have:
