Reduce ability cooldowns by a certain percentage:
25% - 60s becomes 45s
50% - 60s becomes 30s
75% - 60s becomes 15s

Reductions apply to companions as well.
Enemies remain unaffected.

Cooldown reducing effects seem to apply proportionally. For example, the mage passive Greater Authority makes control ability cooldowns 20s (~33%) faster, meaning that 60s cooldowns become 40s. With the 25% version of this mod installed, the base cooldown becomes 45s and the cooldown with Greater Authority applied becomes 30s (or a ~33% reduction.)

Heavily reducing the cooldowns and then stacking in-game cooldown bonuses can cause skills to simply have no cooldowns at all. I noticed this on my lvl50 mage Rook while testing. If this isn't something you want, you can simply switch to a different version of the mod once you feel like the cooldowns are getting too short.

The Field-Commander's Helm remains unaffected as of now. I might see if I can track down the right files later.

To install, you will need the latest Frosty release by Joell560.
Joel's release is the most up to date and feature complete version of Frosty. It is recommended that you switch to using Joel's Frosty over wavebend's. It is installed and works exactly the same as wavebend's Frosty, with some extra quality of life features and fewer bugs.

If you bought the game on the EIPC GAMES STORE, download the Datapath Fix Plugin and place it in your Plugins folder within your Frosty folder!

Follow this guide by PinkyDude for step by step instructions on the installation and usage of the mod manager.

If you are having trouble with the modding tools, the best place to ask for help is the Veilguard Modding discord. Start by reading our resources in the Troubleshooting section! Also keep in mind that while we are doing our best to help, Veilguard modding is new territory for everyone, and we are still in the process of learning how it all works (or why it sometimes doesn't and how to fix it.)

If you get an error when trying to import the mod into Frosty, you need to unzip the downloaded archive. There are a variety of tools for this. I can recommend 7-Zip, which is free and open source. With 7-Zip installed, you can simply right click the downloaded file and go to 7-Zip -> Extract Here if you want to extract the mod file into the current folder, or 7-Zip -> Extract Files... if you want to specify a different destination folder.

The Frosty Tool Suite team for the editor and mod manager.
wavebend for the Veilguard fork.
Joell560 for his work within the DAV modding community.
PinkyDude for the Frosty guide.
All the other modders who inspired me to jump into Veilguard modding myself.

Project files are included in the Misc section. Check the Permissions dropdown for details.
