Just installed it last week and it worked no problem. Have .DAI installed. Didn't have to change patch numbers or nothing. Just switched characters, Golden Nug time, switched again, Golden Nug again, and deleted the character I DLed.
Big thumbs up on this seeing as no matter what I tried only once could I get 1 master schematic to show up and believe me when I tell you I spent a number of days on that.
Alright ladies and gents, I'm going to help everyone on their first playthrough (like me) who just wants cool looking gear. So yes, these saves will work and give you presumably *every* schematic. However, unless you're willing to spoil yourself on the final battle, this will not do.
So, what do I need to do in order to make the Golden Nug appear in the undercroft? https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonageinquisition/mods/810?tab=files Boom So I found this persons save post-game, don't read the description because they say it has spoilers. Drop this in your save files, reboot your game, click load then switch characters, find the new character. It loads you in Skyhold. Go to the Undercroft then you'll see the nug. Click on the nug and sync across all saves. Save the game. Now, jump to the file that you downloaded from here. Click on the golden nug and sync. Boom, you're done. Go back to your original playthrough and *Edit* click the nug again, sync, then enjoy. I hope this helps someone.
I can't load the save for unlocking golden nug for some reason on a fresh install, it says I need a newer save for some reason, I don't know what to do.

So I'm unable to get the save to show up in my game, I just got it off steam due to the sale. I've placed the file Schematics-Full file in with the other saves (Documents-BioWare-DA:I- Save) yet when I load up the game I'm not able to see the save file when I go to switch characters. Do I need to use another file because it's not technically the Deluxe edition or is GOTY the same as the Deluxe?
