For those with issues merging this mod to a Patch 10 game version: Use a hex editor or non-formatting text editor (like Notepad++) to change the minPatchVersion field in the .daimod file from 12 to 11. It's right at the top. That'll make it merge with a Patch 10 game.
I am using the file where the window should close. I have used both DAIMM and Frosty v. 1.0.6.3. The animation is gone but the window stays open. Any ideas on how to fix?
I liked the idea of this mod but I did not realize how game changing it would be! It has saved me so much time in my travels through the game! Truly I love this simple but much needed mod.
So, how to make the mod work? I've downloaded the LW version, Frosty Mod Manager, clicked on "add mods", selected the .daimod file and then clicke apply mods. I have only this mod installed and the game version is the latest one. On description tab of Frosty Mod Manager I have this row:

I'm using the normal version instead of the LW one and it works perfectly in Frosty regardless of the warning. I use the datapath fix instead of the launch platform plugin. It can be found at Datapath Fix Plugin. If you are using the default plugin you must go to options in Frosty, then Launch Options, then check the box that is labeled "Platform Launching Enabled" and select "EADesktop" as the platform. If you bind toggle mouse look to a key (I have it bound to caps lock and toggle walk bound to alt) when mouse look is toggled on it will auto loot when it is off the window will stay up. The loot animation will not play either way. TLDR; Mouse look must be bound to a key and enabled for auto loot to function. Platform Launching must be enabled in Frosty and set to EADesktop. With these settings the mod works 100% with Frosty 1.0.6.2 without having to do anything other than apply it and launch the game.
How are you getting mods to work at all using Frosty Mod Manager? I've tried setting the launch options to EA. The game launches, but the mods are not loaded. And the Mod Manager is stuck on "waiting for platform to launch" or something.

TLDR;
Mouse look must be bound to a key and enabled for auto loot to function. Platform Launching must be enabled in Frosty and set to EADesktop. With these settings the mod works 100% with Frosty 1.0.6.2 without having to do anything other than apply it and launch the game.
