I can't find anything in Patch 11 that should conflict with this mod. You should be able to run Patch 11 and this mod together. If you are running into any CTDs or other problems, I can only offer very basic advice.
- Make sure you are using the latest version of Mod Manager - Make sure you are merging correctly - Make sure any other mods you are using are up-to-date / remove out-of-date mods - Make sure there are no mod conflicts (there is no easy way to check this, but any mod that modifies a weapon can potentially conflict with this mod)
BioWare did not intend for DA:I to be easy to mod. The fact that we even got this far is a cry to the persistence and skill of the DA:I modding community. Although it may be frustrating when things don't work, just remember that none of this should even have been possible. Modders have done our absolute best to bring this content to you.
Mod(s) work great for everything except bows. I've tested a mage, warrior, and rogue to compare... mage and warrior still cannot use bows. But, mage or warrior can now duel wield longswords or greatswords or STAFFS -- duel staffs blast in rapid fire, allowing me to cast spells twice as fast. I also notice that Cassandra and Blackwall have odd placement of shields... Cassandra's shield (while on her back) sticks up over her head but upside down. Still trying to equip them differently so it doesn't do that.
tell me, any of these things is like too obvious that is a mod and not part of the game? many games have clipping issues or something... what about item descriptions? do they refer to the itens being usable only by some classes? I want to play this game for the first time... but I only play as a swords dual wielding fighter since the times of Baldur's gate 1 hahahah
Can you remove the "Not Varric" restriction on Bows, or does you mod already do that? I hate Bianca because it's no fun with these schematics, I prefer to find new loot and equip Varric with whatever cool bows I find.
If you want No Class Restrictions on Weapons just download Frosty Editor and change class requirements to none works for all weapons and dlc weapons. Create project and from project create mod. Easy peasy. :)
So I'm using the mods to change longswords and greatswords into dual daggers. I have a longsword and the prismatic greatsword equipped. For some reason, the greatsword's "energy blade" is being put on the longsword so just I'm swinging around the greatsword's hilt. Does anyone know if this is something that can be fixed or is it just something that happens because of the mods?

Does anybody know if there is potential to use two items in their original functions together for Inquisition? Example being a staff in main hand and then a longsword in offhand and they function as their respective items? From what I've seen it doesn't look do-able but I'm sure another person here has more info on the topic than I do. Would be amazing if there was a way to bind a skill slot to an offhand action or something of the like that would allow a player to genuinely multi-class two weapons.
If you happen to get these kind of messages when doing a merge just re-install the mod manager & it will work fine. that fixed it for me hopefully it will for someone else who has this issue.
