Bethany Outfit for Female Qunari
For frosty mod manager. Replaces the green mercenary coat that the qunari female inquisitor wears during the prologue with a pink and teal version of Bethany's outfit.
This mod now works on all mesh quality settings!
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER!
Make sure that you UNINSTALL this mod when not playing as a female qunari, because otherwise the other inquisitors prologue armours WILL be affected, but it won't look right, because it will be using the wrong textures, since this mod wasn't designed for other inquisitors. If you forget, don't worry, it's a simple fix, just uninstall the mod, it will NOT break your game.
Issues
The shadows for the outfit will look strange. Unfortunately, this is a bug with the frosty mod maker, so I can't do anything about that, all frosty mod maker model tweaks have this issue.
During character creation, and in the mirror of transformation, the skintone of the body will not match up with that of the face. But don't worry! The skintone will match up once you have finished customizing your character, and finalized your changes to them. This is normal.
Reccomended Mods
The following mods, although not originally designed for this mod, should work to provide alternate colour and design options for the qunari female Bethany outfit (I tested it myself! so I can confirm they work with it, despite them originally being created for human females.)
Just be sure to:
- only use one of the following redesigns at once
- use the monochrome version of my Bethany outfit, instead of the regular version, whilst using these redesigns, so that the colours load right
- uninstall these redesigns when you're not using them, so that they don't intefer with the other inquisitor types prologue outfits
- load whichever redesign you choose underneath my monochrome qunari female Bethany outfit mod in your mods list. To do so, you can left click on the name of whichever redesign you chose in your mods list, then press the down button that is near the top middle of the frosty mod manager interface, until whichever redesign you chose is placed beneath my mods name.
Without further ado, here are said redesign options:
- the Bethany's Armour - Skyhold and Starting Outfit file from the Trevelyan's wardrobe mod - this has a more neutral colour pallette, and a red and purple scarf. although, do note, it will also replace the skyhold outfit with the qunari female Bethany armour, too.
- femshepping's Bethany Outfit Retextures for Frosty - available here - this has multiple options, but you have to pick just one of them. you won't need to download the Trevelyan's wardrobe mod that it lists as a required file if you only want to use these redesigns on my mod, instead.
- the Casual Ferelden HF for Trevelyan Wardrobe file from the Casual Ferelden mod - this turns the dress dark red with white cloth accents and pale fur, dark leather, and blue cross-stitched details and scarf. once again, if you just want to use this redesign on my mod, then you shouldn't have to download the Trevelyan Wardrobe mod for it to work.
- the Casual and dark Ferelden HF for Trevelyan Wardrobe file from the Casual and dark Ferelden pack download, also located on the Casual Ferelden mod page - this turns the dress dark grey with black cloth accents, dark leather, cream fur, and dark red scarf. as with the previous file, if you just want to use this redesign on my mod, then you shouldn't have to download the Trevelyan Wardrobe mod for it to work.
