Requires Frosty 1.0.6.2 or higher. NOT for QM QF.
This mod replaces the Helm of the Inquisitor (the iconic one with dragon wings) with the Helm of the Dragon Hunter (Ameridan's helm), since the latter doesn't have a schematic. Now you can craft it as early as in Haven to match your crafted Dragon Hunter armor, or even skip the Nox Morta side quest for good (if not using a shop mod to buy the helm). Also available for the companions.
Both the Original version and the Redux version use vanilla textures and a new tint map made for crafting. The Original version also uses the vanilla model, which may clip the Inquisitor or a companion's scalp and doesn't work for Blackwall. Note the shadow is bugged.
The Redux version removes the grill on the vanilla model to show the Inquisitor or the companion's face, and fixes the bugged shadow. It also replaces the helm looted from the Nox Morta in JoH. The scalp clipping has been fixed for my Inquisitors and companions. But it may still happen, depending on the head shape of your Inquisitor.
UPDATES
2023-5-22 Made the full Redux version. Made a standalone Redux version for Blackwall, which will affect other HM characters. You can also load it BELOW the base mod as a patch. I recommend using a mod that trims or removes Blackwall's beard.
2023-12-19 Redux 2.0 features seven high-poly models I made. The patch for Blackwall must be loaded BELOW the base mod. Now the vanilla helm can be purchased at Seggrit's shop in Haven. The requirement is changed from level 24 to level 5 for the Inquisitor and companions.
2024-7-11 The Original version is back on the shelf as some of you request it. But I'm afraid I don't have time to fix the bugs. You can always buy the helm at Seggrit's shop in Haven. And, no, the helm can't be ported to QM QF.
2024-9-22 Now the mod replaces Blackwall's two unique helmets, so no patch is needed anymore.
