A pair of custom edits of Saarath's armor from the (REQUIRED) Trespasser DLC that replace the Shokra-taar (Arishok armor) and Skyhold outerwear respectively.

If, like me, you've ever scrolled through the Nexus and been annoyed by the sheer lack of love for Qunari men, this is the mod for you. Made specifically for those (like myself) who play their Qunari as escaped saarebas or prisoners, complete with shackles on the wrists and ankles to signify their past.

This was an insane labor of love for me. I've put about an entire weeks worth of work into this mod, trying my hardest to perfect it in every way I could. This mod all spawned from my love for ratmother's incredible Qunari Wardrobe, which adds the Saarath's armor as a Skyhold replacer for QM. I'd fallen in love with the armor and the way it looked on my Qunari, but wanted to get rid of the helmet. Drawing on my experience of mesh modding other games, I managed to not only create a helmetless version, but get it working! The only issue is that ratmother's Qunari Wardrobe mod has a lot of bundle edits for locations so that the armor displays correctly, as I assume from my own experience, that trying to replace the base Skyhold PJ's mesh with such an intricate model had become a nuisance. So from here, I set out on my journey.

You may have noticed that this mod is a teensy little bit heavy -- upwards of 20MB. This is because the workaround I used to replace the Skyhold outerwear required me to squish down the amount of materials used to 2, which led to me combining the armor and underarmor as one piece before making a new UV map for the textures. Finally, inspired by Padme4000's brilliant idea of using a 4k texture map to hold two separate 2k diffuse textures on a single plane, allowing a new UV map for a two-part-to-one-part condensed mesh to be made with the textures properly aligning on the mesh.

Replaces the Shokra-taar and Skyhold outerwear (Armor and casual version) or just the Shokra-taar (Armor version) for Qunari male ONLY. I will NOT be making patches for other races or sexes!!

To be able to use this mod, your Inquisitor MUST be a MALE QUNARI!

This mod edits the texture files for the Shokra-taar (Arishock armor), meaning that if you put the Shokra-taar on anybody that isn't a MALE QUNARI Inquisitor, it will have the vanilla mesh with the edited textures!! This mod also edits the base nude textures for MALE QUNARI Inquisitors, utilizing the custom normals and specular of Saarath to give the MALE QUNARI body a chiselled and scarred appearance. I will likely NOT be changing this!

Both armor and casual are fully tintable, and the casual is compatible with tinting mods that affect the Skyhold outerwear.

I will NOT be making a version that includes the casual ONLY. It depends on the replaced Shokra-taar textures used by the armor and replacing the textures used by the outerwear would cause significant issues with other armors in the game. If you want only the casual, I'd suggest using a mod that replaces the Skyhold PJ's with the Antam-saar since they are similar.

I will NOT be replacing the Skyhold PJ's with the casual edit at ANY POINT. It's far more hassle than it's worth and nearly impossible with what I have. If you want to have this mod show up over your Skyhold PJ's, use sirsagrell's Skyhold outfit and formal attire replacements, specifically the outerwear version that can be found in the "Requested pj replacements" file.

The staff shown in the images is a PRIVATE mesh-edit of the Inquisitor's greatsword, used for executions as well as in the coronation scene after claiming Skyhold. I will consider releasing it separately if there is enough interest.

Shoutout to ratmother/hong for their initial guidance and ideas!

Shoutout to
Dmitrias for their repeated dedication to helping me out with issues I ran into and their incredibly detailed walkthroughs!
