About this mod

This Mod reduces enemy health multipliers to be able to play solo campaigns without party companions. Goodbye Sponginess, hello ability impact. It should now feel powerful to be in full control of combat on an individual character and not being reliant on your companion AI to take down enemies.

The Issue

DAI is a fantastic game. The only problem i always had was, that weapon hits, abilities and spells did never feel as impactful with the enemy healthbar just barely moving even on your big crits. Dragon Age Inquisition is designed and balanced for the whole Party to dps. Thats a great system for those who like to swap characters all the time. Me myself i like playing with a main char and i want him/her to be individually powerful. When i hit i want to feel the impact on the enemy and one of the most significant ways to express that is through Healthbar Percentages (HP %) that go missing when i strike them.

The Solution

This mod Changes the Health multipliers for all difficulties to make solo play possible and fun. Just leave your Companions at home and play as a solo char just like in your favourite action rpg titles such as Witcher, Souls or AC. The combat feedback Dragon Age Inquisition provides with screen shake and ability animation now creates an extraordinarily good experience when you cut down foes on your way to saving the world. Every Ability Point you spend makes a BIG difference, therefore it certainly also has an impact on the Progression System, that i personally like quite a bit.

The exact Values i changed are the following:

Health multipliers

Casual/Easy Difficulty
0.65 --> 0.1
Normal Difficulty
1.0   --> 0.25
Hard Difficulty
1.4   --> 0.5
Nightmare Difficulty
1.8   --> 1.2

Problems

There is obviously content in the game such as quests and loot that is only accessable with certain classes in your party. Only rogues can pick certain locks, only mages can energize and only Warriors can crash through certain doors. This is something to keep in mind. I honestly dont mind that as 1. it provides replayability and 2. is realistic as your character shouldnt be able to to everything. Besides you always have the possibility to bring a companion to the quest or area. I personally recommend to combine this mod with "No class Restrictions on Weapons" mainly for the reason that you can equip a mages staff with any class to get through the magical barriers. Other than that shielded Enemies are a little bit unproportionally tough in the very early game before you have the ability toolkit to work around their shield with warrior or rogue. Mage is very good in that regard.

Installation

Just a normal Frosty Mod to install. If you have difficulties to install follow a guide on Youtube.

Compatability

So far i only know of one incompatability and that is "Bugs be gone". Thats a tricky one because if you have it installed and you want to deinstall it for using my mod it can happen that you cannot load your old saves as the game reckognizes bugs be gone as a "newer patch version" and it is therefore hard to delete. My mod should be free for mid playthrough and can be removed without any problems.

Gameplay recommendations

I recommend Using ALL of the "Abilities Revamped" mods to go with SPC, as well as "Combat Unleashed" Just for better balancing and faster paced combat fun.
