Not sure if it's ok to post here about this but no idea where else to ask (I think the forum group is only for modders which I'm really not).
I'm trying to extract some music files from DAI.. but for some reason I can't. Tried a method found on Youtube where a guy used Python and then simply moved the chunk files over Ealayer3 and it auto converted them. That didn't work for me.
So I found DAI tools which supposedly thanks to Warranty Voider should have this feature (I think?). So.. I let it scan the game. When it's done I go to sounds, open the folders etc till I find what I think is what I want. But none of the options like Play, Extract as MP3 or WAV work, I click on them and simply nothing happens. The only one that works is Save as Chunk. So I click that, it saves as .bin and I give it a name.. then I try to use it with Ealayer but it can't open .bin.
So I'm at a bit of a loss and no idea where to ask (it's kinda hard to find this information on the internet it seems :/ or maybe I'm just noob which is probably more like it).
Have you tried renaming the .bin to .mp3 or another sound file .exe? hopefully then the computer knows what to do with the renamed file and you should be able to open it.
1. Is it possible to extract/preview static 3d meshes with this? I've found them using the resource preview, but exporting them only gives me .bin file which I don't know what to do with. 2. If it's possible, would you kindly point me to an up to date tutorial on it?
I can't find information ANYWHERE on this: is it possible to add these mods (hair, recoloring) to a PS4? if so, how? (in detail please lol I've only ever modded pc sims3)... if not, WHY???? please help my inquisitor needs an emergency makeover.....
Firstly thank you for such a great tool! But I am having trouble extracting meshes. I am trying to follow the guide here:http://daitools.freeforums.org/update-rev-30-skinned-mesh-export-t79.html
But on the current version there is no "Transfer" menu at the top. Just "Tools" and "About".
