      This is the single most important mod you can get for DAI, it looks like it belongs in the base game. Except when talking to bull, if you're too close when you enter the conversation. Still, well done indeed.

    Great mod overall, works well with DAIMM. Just be aware that it can look a bit weird when speaking with taller/smaller people than Inky.

    Can confirm it doesn't work with Frosty, so unless you're using other mod managers don't bother trying this one out

    Just started Modding Inquisition with DAI Mod Manager but anytime i change the configuration for this mod (Changing the value of the Camera zoom in) then Merging it ends up just resetting to the default value of 20?

    Any help would be appreciated!

      Hi!
      If you open the .daimod in Notepad++ (NOT regular notepad, get notepad++ here: https://notepad-plus-plus.org/download ) and look for the line (line 32) that says:

      ConfigElementsList.AddIntElement("ZoomFactor", "Zoom factor:", 20, 18, 50);

      You can then change the 20 to be whatever zoom factor you want to be your default - mine is 35, so it looks like this:

      ConfigElementsList.AddIntElement("ZoomFactor", "Zoom factor:", 35, 18, 50);

      I worked this out thanks to Svarty's mods and his explanation for how to change default values, I poked around in this one and found the thing that needs to be changed. I hope this helps, either you or anyone else looking for how to set the default so it stays the same between merges. Messing around with mods like this was REALLY scary to me for some reason, but it's really really easy.

      You can find svarty's mods here if you want to take a peek!

      And again, I'm seeing the same. This mod and this mod only causes the game to freeze on startup when using Frosty.

      I wasted a whole day trying to find out wtf was wrong with my game. Uninstall, restart PC, Firewall settings, Admin perms, Turned off windows defender and firewall I even disabled newly installed mods but I apparently missed this one ????, and it worked just fine after disabling it.

      Tl;dr: I'm stupid and I had the exact same problem.

    Am I doing this wrong? Because zoom happens to random places, sometimes I don't even see both people. Why bioware got rid of face to face convo, no idea.

    Decided to try this out with frosty, unfortunately it causes the game to go into an infinite load on start up, doesnt make it to the bioware screen.

    Sadly this mod made frosty unable to launch (it isn't for frosty tbf, but I've not had any conversion issues with any other mods). Shame, cause it looks really really good in the pictures...

    Very nice mod. Is there any chance this interferes with the Journey to Skyhold series of cutscenes? Ever since installing this and I replay that whole bit, it always gets stuck right after speaking to Solas about the orb, before you journey to Skyhold. Screen goes white and stays like that, and if I click mouse there are sounds like I'm hitting something (combat). Just trying to track this problem down, any insight would be appreciated, thanks.

      I just recently played through this and had no problems.
      Only thing was in the cave, I could walk too fast, but this is the 50% speed increase in combat mod I assume.

      Descent is instantcrash, no matter what mod.

      this is a problem if u have any mod installed (it can also be ur graphics card needing an adapter reinstall)

      just find ur mods folder and put it anywhere else (like the desktop, it doesn't matter), and go to Update > Patch, open up package.mft (w/ notepad) and increase the patch number by 1 (so with Version 12, just replace 12 w/ 13)

      put everything back where it was after ur done with that scene (don't forget to change 13 back to 12! )

      I'm nervous about doing the patch increase thing, since otherwise everything seems to be working. Increasing the patch # wouldn't ruin things?

      if the patch number does break things, u can just set it back, it *should* work exactly the same as before (i guess u could also duplicate ur inqusition folder if ur worried it'll break things irreversibly)

      putting the mod folder on the desktop and changing the patch number worked out for me when i got stuck on that white screen after solas' talk

      good luck!

      Unfortunately, removing the mods completely negates replaying that scene. The whole reason I want to is to record a video using my mods, so... :-S The whole sequence had played out just fine before, with mods, just not after installing this one...

      Hi, you posted this years ago but I might be able to help, maybe. I had the screen going white problem too, for me the problem was the HD eye textures mod (the main file, not the tweaked versions in the updated section.) I posted about it on the mod here: https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonageinquisition/mods/181?tab=posts
      I don't know if you use/used that mod or if you're even still having the issue, if you're even still playing inquisition. But if anyone is looking for a place to start when looking for solutions to the white screen at skyhold after the unskippable scene of everyone singing the dawn will come, check and see if you use that mod.
      This mod, I haven't had problems with during the voyage from haven to skyhold. That said, I don't use frosty, and I know there may be some issues there.

      Thanks for the reply. I did read something about that HD eye texture and I was using it. I never solved the issue and haven't tried again in a while. I don't use Frosty yet either, since many of my fav texture mods are not Frosty-version, and some can't be.

      Hi! I know this thread is old now but I just wanted to let you know that I had the same problem too. It happened with any mod I used. I ended up fixing it by opening the game in a window format and making the window smaller until the cutscene plays. You can then go fullscreen in windowed format once it starts to play. Hope this helps!
