This custom armour is inspired by old Victorian English style giving the inquisitor the look of an upper society traveller.
Want the noble heritage to be reflected in lady Trevelyan's attire? Here it is!

The armour set is made for human female inquisitor and is therefore only available for her, no other races.
I'll possibly make other armour sets for other races and genders in the future.
I'd rather make new ones that fit the body type of the race than try to force this one to fit.

It's worth noting that in addition to the outfit change the arms have been tweaked as well.
The poly count is close to twice as high which make the arms look smoother and the fingers slimmer.
The armour set works for inquisitors of all skin colours as the visible skin uses the vanilla skin texture.

Considering Josephine uses the same body model as HF inquisitor I have made this outfit usable for Josephine as well.
It suits her quite well. The elegant outfit looks good with her feminine movements.

Sadly there are clipping issues with the cape. I did my best to make it as minimal as possible,
but the cape will still clip into the body when doing certain movements. I hope you can forgive those awkward moments.

The outfits will/should work in all zones (even Haven!) considering they replace the original outfits.
Please let me know if you run into issues in any zones.

There are two options for all mods featuring texture edits, 2k and 4k resolution.
For the best texture quality and crisp details use 4k which doubles the quality of the texture map.
If you can't run 4k or experience lag when doing so, use the 2k version.
The model is still quite large, so if you run into lag issues there's not much I can do.

Disclaimer:
All screenshots were taken using the 4k versions.

Elegant Victorian - Armour 2k/4k
The main file for the Elegant Victorian experience. This completely replaces the standard inquisitor armour set for HF of all classes with the Elegant Victorian outfit. Everything from PJ's to the highest tier armour, including upgrades for arms and legs. It will always look the same in regards to shape no matter how you upgrade it. You can however customize colours. The cape, pants and shiny metal details (including ornamentation on the cape, shirt and pouch) are tintable. Note that not all parts will be affected when you craft the armour (depending on schematic), but can be customized fully at the tinting table in Skyhold.
This outfit is also the default worn in Skyhold. It has a couple of different colour options through the wardrobe.
If you want another colour option for Skyhold see the formal attire optional mod below.

I recommend also using the optional mod Hidden Prologue/Start Amour for fresh playthroughs.

Elegant Victorian - Formal 2k/4k
Optional file
Replaces the formal attire for HF inquisitor with the Elegant Victorian outfit. To get around any possible conflicts I've replaced the bride's dress with this custom outfit and then made the formal attire the bride's dress. Hope that makes sense. In conclusion both the brides dress and the formal attire is now this custom outfit. This version is not tintable, so if you like the original texture map I made for the outfit you can use this version.
You can wear it either by crafting it as an armour or by switching to formal attire through the wardrobe in Skyhold.
Note that this affects the bride's dress in Trespasser, so if you want the vanilla bride experience I recommend uninstalling this mod for that scene.

Elegant Victorian - Josephine 2k/4k
Optional file
Replaces Josephine's outfit with the Elegant Victorian outfit. Only one colour option.

Hidden Prologue/Starter Armour
Optional file
Simply hides the armour the inquisitor wears in the prologue to display the PJ's. This optional mod includes no new armours or textures. It's meant to be used with the Armour Replacer if you want to feel like a noble woman from the very beginning. Works for all classes and races.

ALL ELEGANT VICTORIAN MODS ARE ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH HF INQUISITOR!
DON'T USE WITH INQUISITOR OF OTHER RACES OR GENDERS.

ARMOUR AND FORMAL WEAR COMPATIBLE WITH EACH OTHER

Elegant Victorian - Armour
This file is by far the largest. It features edits of HF inquisitor's PJ's (both textures and 3d models) and a couple of other files from the inquisitor armour set.
Also edits the files part_app_armor for heavy, medium and light armours. Because of this this mod will not be compatible with any mod editing HF inquisitor's
PJ appearance. It will also not be compatible with any mod featuring "body swap" through part_app_armor editing. This includes not only HF inquisitor,
but inquisitor of all races, classes and genders, and all companions. This is because they edit the same file sadly.
Examples would be mods like Live Like Viv
General rule is if you're not gonna use this outfit don't have this mod installed.

I've been made aware that the mod Enchanted Tannery causes some of the leathers to appear super reflective when used with this mod.
I have no idea why this happens or how to fix it, but luckily it's not game breaking.
For me the only leather type that's unusable is Nugskin. It's like a mirror.
Use the mods together at your own risk.

Elegant Victorian - Formal
This mod edits HF bride's dress (both 3d model and textures) and formal attire appearance for inquisitor.
This means that you can still use other texture mods for the vanilla formal attire which companions will be wearing in Halamshiral,
they will not affect HF inquisitor.
This mod is not compatible with any other mod that edits formal attire appearance for any class.
Example: Skyhold outfit and formal attire replacements

Elegant Victorian - Josephine
This mod only edits Josephine's outfit (3d model and textures). Only incompatible with mods editing her outfit.

Hidden prologue/starter armour
Only edits appearance of starter armour (item_app_armor_heavy_start, item_app_armor_medium_start and item_app_armor_light_start),
making it not show up. No texture or model edits. Can be used with other mods by other authors or alone.

Install using Frosty Mod Manager. Make sure you are using v.1.0.5.9 or newer. It will not work with older versions.
This mod is only possible with Frosty, no Daimod unfortunately.

In settings in game you should have mesh quality set to Ultra, but it should work on High as well.

For use of both Daimods and Frosty mods together please see this guide by AnaisAndStuff:

Some DAI mods can also be installed directly with Frosty, but not all will work in my experience. Trial and error!
