About this mod

Frosty or daimod. Makes modded hairstyles show up in the black emporium, Jaws of Hakkon, trespasser, & the descent, also beards. See description, extra features listed there. A couple of advisor hairs still won't work in trespasser, & some dwarf ones in descent.

Show Modded Hairs in Black Emporium, Trespasser, Jaws of Hakkon and the Descent

What this mod does
For frosty or dai mod manager. This mod makes modded hairstyles show up in the black emporium, trespasser, Jaws of Hakkon, or the Descent instead of reverting back to the unmodded style as many do. I believe it also works on beards, I haven't tested it on every hair/beard/race combo but I have seen many modded hairs show with it that I tested.

sphleah also told me that my mod was able to stop daimod face textures from causing freeze at the black emporium if using DAIMM.

The trespasser version may also work with complexions with edited shine, for everyone but Josie. Daimod formalwear and dress textures should now also work at trespasser. Leliana's unhooded and Josie's hair will not work in trespasser due to their bundles, but Leliana's HOODED hair *might* work (untested.) Unmentioned daimod textures that aren't in CC probably still won't work.

See the JoH picture to learn of any fixes made for that DLC. And see the descent picture to learn of any fixes made for that DLC, and any issues.

This site can help you understand what the appearance of some base hairs named in the descent picture look like.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
You do NOT need to have frosty mod manager to load the .daimod versions of the mod, those are for dai mod manager. I saw a few people confused about this, so I wanted to clear it up. I would not have gone to the trouble of converting daimod versions if I was just going to tell people to load them through the opposite mod manager (which you don't need to do! ^^)

In fact, I did most of the testing with the daimod versions ran through dai mod manager, so there's absolutely no need to download frosty mod manager if you are just using the .daimod versions. You will, of course, need frosty mod manager if you want to use the .fbmod versions though, but you don't need to use both the daimod and the .fbmod versions, just pick the versions that correspond with your mod manager.

Conflicts
This is a bundle edit and as such may conflict with any other bundle edits to the black emporium, trespasser, Jaws of Hakkon or the descent if you use those versions, usually mods that swap characters, hair, clothing. Won't work on hair or beard swaps, so nothing that puts NPC hair/beard on inquisitor.

What this mod doesn't do:
This mod doesn't introduce any new hairstyles, beards or textures. You will have to download those from other mods. All this mod does is ensure that those modded hairs show in the black emporium, trespasser, Jaws of Hakkon, and the descent because normally they don't.

The hairstyles shown in the previews are all by darkcouncilelite.

PLEASE NOTE: daimod version is experimental, it works for me but few bundle edit daimods exist. This doesn't necessarily mean every bundle edit can be made into a daimod.

Note
I think the Black Emporium version should work with replacer bundle file of Aileani's beta hair WIP as it uses same bundle.
if you would like trespasser compatible dress textures without editing bundles or using daimods, ladyepilogue has converted fbmods of
popular dress textures by Skaramoosh (account deleted) and MercurialMalcontent here and here
frosty hair meshes made with the current alpha version of frosty editor do not require this mod to work in DLCs -- those work in DLC's already; it's only some daimod hair meshes that may need this mod. if you wish to have a hair for Josephine that shows in Trespasser, I recommend trying the Beloved Montilyet mod by dunmr.

Possible issues
There is a possibility that whilst out adventuring and exploring with your companions, deshined companion complexions may still not work depending on the combination of people in your party.

This is something that I realized in the making of the last update I did, and due to the sheer amount of possible party combinations there is no possible way that I could ensure that all of them work, so, this is a disclaimer. You might not run into these problems at all with the particular party you use, and I think many combinations will work, but be aware it is a possibility. I don't think this is an issue for hair mods however, just complexions with edited shine.

If you run into this issue, consider changing who is in your party, or, if you are really determined to have a certain party, try downloading daimod complexions for them advertised as DLC compatible (usually ones without edited shine/specular map), or, downloading fbmods of their complexions.
