OMG YOU ARE A LIFESAVER BLESS YOU!!! 100 hours into the game,, picking the soften dialogue options only to realise I didn't do crap at Haven...so stupid that Leliana is locked into hardened if you miss that ONE TRAITOR SCENE LMAO 😭
ALSO, I used frosty to install this mod (ignored the '(WARNING: Mod was designed for a different game version') IT STILL WORKED FOR ME!!
this worked for me yesterday! apparently i missed the conversation at Haven and i was already at the second-to-last story mission by the time i realized, but thankfully i had a manual save right before starting leliana's quest so i only wound up losing about 30 min. of progress after reloading. i used frosty to install this (just drag and drop the unzipped file onto the frosty window) & grabbed the rings from the shop before obtaining the quest, had no issues whatsoever. frosty does warn that the mod is for an old game version but that didn't seem to impact the functionality at all
It doesn't work to soften Leliana after doing her quest, as it will just corrupt the save file. I've tried looking around on the internet for a solution to this, and the closest I've found is another guy in this comment section who had the same problem but got ignored. Does anyone know a solution to this?
Bumping because I have the same problem! The mod is showing up in my DAI mod manager fine, but when I go to the Crossroads merchant, the rings simply aren't there.
Not OP but I had the same issue - I didn't see them at first but I went back to skyhold, then back to the merchant again and there they were so maybe try that?
my best guess is that this mod isnt compatible with mods that change the crossroad merchants stock. i had the same issue, but once i disabled the crossroads crafting supply mod, it worked! not sure if there are any other mods affect that merchant, but disable them for a bit if you have em. after that, it should work like it did for me! hope this helps, but if not, play around with your other mods a bit, ill cross my fingers for you ^-^
For any 2024 or later modders out there, I chose the "wrong" option at Haven and used this mod before the Left Hand of the Divine quest and purchased all rings at the crossroads market. You can tell that the mod is working if the rings at that shop cost 0 gold.
I used the older DAI mod manager instead of Frosty.
No extra steps were needed or any fiddling with the EA App. Really clean and easy mod; I highly recommend it.
My understanding, and I might be wrong, is that you can get this mod to work if you are using DAI on steam, if you have it on the hateful evil EA app then you get to live with a harden Leliana or start your entire game over, unless you know how to edit saves which I do not.
They did not immediately show up at the merchant but after I returned to Skyhold, then back again they were there so try that if you it seems like the mod didn't work at first!
