About this mod
This mod allows you to easily soften Leliana before completing her personal quest, even if you missed previous conversations. Four rings have been added to the Crossroads merchant; buying each of the rings once will set the necessary plot flags. You can then safely sell or destroy the rings and uninstall the mod; the flag changes are permanent.
- Permissions and credits
The four rings are common quality, and have replaced four of the common quality weapons the merchant usually sells. The price of these rings has been set to 0 gold for ease of use, however note that this affects any of the given rings, even those found through other means, hence I don't recommend keeping this mod installed after it's served its purpose. The plot flags are triggered when the rings enter your inventory, so selling them back or destroying them afterwards won't have any effect. If you subsequently change your mind about softening Leliana and want to harden her again, you can use a save editor to change one of the altered flags. Search for one of the flags in the bottom textbox and double click on it to flip its value; this will ensure the requirements for softening aren't met and Leliana will be hardened at the end of her personal quest. As always, make a backup of your save game before attempting to modify it like this. If Leliana's personal quest has already been completed, these flags will no longer have any effect - instead you need to change the "Leliana softened" flag (915CC2886A76FD4B92EF6518BA53010A) to TRUE or FALSE depending on your requirements.
