Hello there! I decided to re-play DAI again since Bioware confirmed that they're working on DA4. I have the Deluxe Edition and my patch is version 11. I tried to configure it and make it 12 and 13 but still the save game cannot be loaded. It says "this save data was created with a newer version of the game. please download the latest patch and try again. Trespasser. The Black Emporium."
It would be nice to use your save game because I don't prefer to grind :(
Do you have Trespasser and Black Emporium and it's still saying that? Also, make the regular patch 13, and run your modmanager, then make sure the mod patch is 14.

How do you do that? There is no official patch 13, so how do I make the regular patch become patch 13?
Edit: Never mind, I figured it out. You gotta go into "C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dragon Age Inquisition\Update\Patch\" and open "package.mft" with notepad or notepad++ and change the version number to 13, save it and then open up Mod Manager and merge all your mods, which will change the mod patch version to 14. Got it working! :D
So first off, Love the mods truly. I had been getting burnt out doing all the different side quests and everything, but still love the story and character interactions, so love having these to download. I was wondering though how you got that armor for Omni? I love that armor but cant get it on the elven male mage which I really want to. Thanks!
It's' the Skyhold Trespasser PJ Replacer mod, and the file is Trespasser_Schematics_1.2_Revised. When installed, the schematics are available from at the Blacksmith's shop. You have to keep the mod installed for the armor to show. The schematic is either the Enlightened Warrior's Armor or the Arcane Warrior's Armor, tho' I can't recall which one of them I used. I hope this helps!

Not sure if I missing something, everything else works great. At the Winter Palace Sera is the only person I had the option to share a dance with? I want to romance Bull this playthrough, but nothing came up for his dialogue.
Hunh. I think, and I'm not sure about this, but I think you have to have the romance initiated at least a little before you get the option to ask someone to dance. I thought that Josephine was the one who would come talk to you if you hadn't yet romanced anyone, but I've always been in a romance before I get to the Winter Palace so I don't actually know if that's true or not. Regardless, I don't think that it stops you from being able to romance him, even if you don't get a dance with him.
I'm on my first playthrough (human female romancing Cullen) but I want so much to also work on a Solas-romance playthrough. But, don't want to start over on absolute everything -- leaving that for the current playthrough. This doesn't take out the fantastic fun of getting to Skyhold, does it? I love that part so much I replayed it three times in a row. I can't fathom how this would work unless it is beyond that point. May just download it and see what happens. :) Dang it I love this game!OH DANG never mind just saw where it starts off.Heck I may do it anyway from that point - thank you!
I am completely addicted to this game, which is why I keep making these files. I'm passing the time until BIoware finally releases DA4. :D In my opinion, the Cullen romance is the best, but the Solas romance makes the story very interesting. If you finish your first playthrough, and get the Golden Nug, then you can get all of the schematics for any other characters you play. Enjoy!
Sadly it doesn't work for me either - I bought DAI separate, and then the DLCS, not the Deluxe Edition. Argh. I guess I will slog onward with the Solas-romance!
So I think this is my fault in the end. The deluxe edition comes with Flames of the Inquisition and Spoils of the Qunari. What I did not realize is that my saves require that you have those two add-ons, as well as the DLCs. I'll be sure to change that in the requirements, so that people know. I'm sorry that I didn't know that from the beginning.
Were you ever able to get this file working? If not, I have recently uploaded a new EF mage with no deluxe content. Also, if you've set your regular patch to 13, run your mod manager and make sure that your mod patch is 14. I hope that you're able to get it working!

I'm so glad you're enjoying them! It makes me warm and fuzzy to know folks are having a good time with my characters! Omni was the first character I played where I tried to make sure to do all of the things - the bottles, the mosaics, the shards...all that stuff. I'm happy to be sharing her with the world! Thanks for all your feedback, it's nice to feel like I'm doing a thing people can have fun with!
It's because I made the save when I still had the Deluxe Edition add-ons installed. I didn't realize at the time that those would prevent folks from being able to use the save. I have uninstalled the add-ons, and am making new saves. Currently working through some requests; an EM rogue, a HF mage, and then another EF mage. All of them should be playable for everyone. I'm sorry that you can't use this one! Bear with me, I'll have a new one up soon.
Were you able to get this file working? I know it's been a long time and I should have checked in with you sooner. If your regular patch is set to 13, run your mod manager and make sure the mod patch is 14. Hopefully that will allow you to open the save. I also have uploaded a new EF mage, if you want to try that one.

edit: I'm hooked on the Cullen romance, or the Dorian romance if I play a male character, and I never really changed my choices from the main quests. But I really like playing the game, I have such a good time with the combat and the npc conversations. So these saves are as good for me as they are for you! :) It makes me feel really good to know they're being appreciated. And I would love it if you wanted to share your screenshots of Omni with a new face!

You need to have Trespasser, I think, but you shouldn't need the Multiplayer stuff unless you are using the mod for her armor. Try the mod-free file and see if it works? If it doesn't, I am going to be super-sad. Let me know if that doesn't work out. I'm not sure what I can do if it doesn't, but I'd like to see if there's something I can do differently. I actually don't think you have to have any of the DLC stuff if it's the mod-free save, I only say the dlc stuff is required because of the armor and weapon mods that I use require dlcs. Keep me posted!

I have just made a save where I removed all of the dlc accessories from the characters and from the storage chest. Hopefully, that means that it will run without any of the dlcs. Oh geez I actually forgot Trespasser, haha, I DO have all 3 dlcs but I think the problem lies within the accesoires (Flames of Inquisition which I googled and this seem to be Deluxe edition exclusive stuff?? And the spoils stuff)

Noooooo! I had no idea that only folks with the Deluxe Edition could use these! That means I can't do anything about it! :( So not even the dlc accessory free version worked? Man, that is so frustrating! I'm not sure how to work around that. If I figure anything out, I'll post it here to you.
Okay, so I've been thinking about this. I really want you to be able to play through one of these, because you were so excited and that made me so happy. So I'm wondering; if I play through without picking up any of the deluxe edition schematics or mounts, maybe it won't insist on you having the deluxe edition stuff? It'd be a week or so before I'll have time to start another character, but I'd be happy to give this a try. So it'll be another elf female, do you prefer the mage or shall I make her a rogue? Since I'm doing this in hopes of you being able to play, let me know if you have a specific world state you like to use.

Sadly, the save I made without picking up the deluxe stuff still did not work for others who do not have the deluxe edition. I am really sorry, I hate that you can't use them! :(

Milandria, can you send me a screenshot of what it's telling you? I don't think it has to be deluxe edition, I think it just requires the flames of the inquisition and spoils of the qunari. I'd really like to know, so that I can properly list the requirements when I make these. And I am SUPER sad panda that you can't use them! :(
