Hi! First, once I figured out how to work this mod properly, it's fantastic! Love having so much freedom with the arms and legs, love loads of your mods for the configuration ability, I can make really unique armor and weapons, thank you!

But there is one issue so far. I'm using just the mage one right now and the appearance switcher is all mislabelled. I'm not sure if this is a mod error or if some other mod is interfering somehow. The invisible and unequipped options are working right.
To clarify, here is what they are switched to (I tested them all one by one and noted them down. The var 2 ones are the same as var 1):

    ARMS
"1 apprentice coat arms var 1" = Apprentice Coat Arms
"2 apprentice mail arms var 1" = Enchanter Coat Arms
"3 apprentice armor arms var 1" = Battlemage Coat Arms
"4 enchanter coat arms var 1" = Apprentice Mail Arms
"5 enchanter mail arms var 1" = Enchanter Mail Arms
"6 enchanter armor arms var 1" = Battlemage Mail Arms
"7 battlemage coat arms var 1" = Apprentice Armor Arms
"8 battlemage mail arms var 1" = Enchanter Armor Arms
"9 battlemage armor arms var 1" = Battlemage Armor Arms

    LEGS
"1 apprentice coat legs var 1" = Apprentice Coat Legs
"2 apprentice mail legs var 1" = Enchanter Coat Legs
"3 apprentice armor legs var 1" = Battlemage Coat Legs
"4 enchanter coat legs var 1" = Apprentice Mail Legs
"5 enchanter mail legs var 1" = Enchanter Mail Legs
"6 enchanter armor legs var 1" = Battlemage Mail Legs
"7 battlemage coat legs var 1" = Apprentice Armor Legs
"8 battlemage mail legs var 1" = Enchanter Armor Legs
"9 battlemage armor legs var 1" = Battlemage Armor Legs

I've not tested the rogue or warrior version yet.

Thank you for doing this, Terraphobe. I get confused whenever I edit/fix this mod, please forgive me.

I'll spend some time trying to put your corrections into place.

Heh, given the sheer amount of content you've made, I think you're allowed a mistake or two :D
Either way I use some form of your configurable mods on every playthrough, I really love them! I'm playing a rogue next so I'll see if that's the same story.

I'm having a problem with the Medium file.
In the mod manager it is not giving me the option of configuring it. I tried to get around it by just editing the file in notepad++ but that does nothing and I just get the default settings appearing in game.

Am I missing something or is this a bug?

Thank you very much for your report. <3

If the Configure button isn't available, it means the code isn't being compiled because there's an error in it. I will get to work on a solution, but I've got a backlog because everybody wants to report all the bugs all of a sudden I'm not complaining, I just have to do things one at a time and I'll get to it.

I'll sticky this and hopefully people will know that it's going to be looked at soontm. MANY APOLOGIES TO EVERYBODY.

[it turns out] the menu is a mess, I've missed a whole heap of commas in the config UI, look!

So, the only problem I have with your configurable mods? I don't necessarily want to stack so many abilities. Is there a way to not get the special stuff?

You just want the cosmetic changes?
I'd have to remake it with normal assets instead. It could definitely be done...
      1. The Assets (the files I change) will all need to be imported one-by-one instead of using the Frosty exported files (Frosty is used to add passive powers).
      2. Then I could remove all the bits of code that change the powers.
      3. Then I'd need to recombine the code and the DAImod.

yeah, don't go to doing all that. Not necessary, thankyou though.

It turns out that I can put a zero value into the "linked files" part of the ebx! So there's now a "None" option on that menu (at the bottom). Sorry it took so long.

It's been a while since I did any work on these so I've forgotten which version I've uploaded...

I've worked on this while not uploading, the menus I have include "Unequipped" and "Invisible", but the invisible option makes arms and legs disappear entirely.
"Unequipped" will do what you want.

Does your version have that as an option?
[edit] It looks like I didn't upload that version so here it is. i hope it works...

I will upload a version with invisible arms and legs so people can make invisible upgrades... It MIGHT work well with one-piece outfits... iirc.... [edit]this is now uploaded.

First of all, your mods are a literal god send. If I could endorse multiple times, I would've. I just have a question though, not sure if you can help but I don't know where to ask:

I find myself adding or removing mods from time to time. Is there a way for me to do so without having to reconfigure all my mods the next time I open up my mod manager to merge?

On the description page at the bottom is a section called OPTIONAL.

If you follow the instructions, you can set up the menu so it defaults to your preferred choices (in all the configurable mods). This way you don't have to reconfigure the mod. There is no way to save the settings but changing the code is the next best thing.

Hi there! Before I begin I just wanna say that your Config mods are an absolute Godsend. I just wanted to ask if it's possible to change the appearance of one weight class to another, so, for instance, change the appearance of heavy arms to light arms? I've installed your configurable armour and your Live like anyone mods and I want the armour upgrades to be visible on Vivienne's gear for my HF warrior.

You should be able to use any appearance, regardless of weight (I THINK). There shouldn't be problems with that.

I think this particular mod might be a little bit wonky, but without reports it's hard to know. Some of the implementation might be off-design or the logic itself might be a little askew at a fundamental level, so I may need to go over it again. Specifically, I am not sure that I should be swapping the Appearance files - but there shouldn't be anything in them that causes incompatibilities with other weights (I would have to take another look at the files to be certain, it's been a long time since I did).

TL;DR maybe. I hope it works.

nice work with this version, but the pasive there is no darkness still doesn´t work, wich sucks because it helps a lot with the elemental defences of your character and party members.

I didn't get anybody to test the abilities, so I just put them all in there. To do so would be an extensive task, as you can see.

I have no idea why some abilities work and others don't, but it's usually the multiplayer abilities that don't work. Sometimes they have the similar names to single player abilities but different effects.

my friend, your mod looks amazing, the only problem is that f*#@ the upgrades of my armor and companions as well, just the apperances, the prowler mail arms and legs has is model change to the scout apperance, is there any fix or are going to be new versions?

I don't know what's going on there, tbh. I think I had it all correct according to the files, though I had some quirky results myself. I just .. don't know, sorry :(

      [edit 11/10/18 (11 October 2018)]
Hang on... it's not right. I'm getting the wrong passives on these things. Legs and Arms are the wrong way around.

I made a mess here. OMG it's so complicated >< My brain! My poor, poor brain! I made this when I was on a roll, so I have to get back to what I was thinking at the time. This could take a while.

ALSO: I have just done a file check procedure for the mod that should make it work on other people's systems. I don't fully understand what's going on, but Tirnoney informs me that the Bound Assets don't work as they should, so I have to do a file check to (try to) correct that.

[edit] Passives seem to be corrected, but appearances are still a mess. Working on it.
[edit] It turns out it was doing some very weird nonsense instead of what I wanted it to. It was copying appearances off other assets instead of just using the array I set up. In fact, it didn't even use the array at all. Very strange.
[edit] I'm going to come back to this tomorrow, it's more complicated than I had anticipated. The original mod is very, very sloppy and I apologise wholeheartedly for that.
[edit] I don't like the way this mod works. I'm going to redo a chunk of it.
[edit] ...er... most of it. In fact, it's in so many bits at the moment that I might not be able to rebuild it! Hah!
[edit] Update: 15/10/18. I think all 3 (Light/Medium/Heavy) are working now, and with asset checking code, so they should work on all systems.

Thank you! This was the perfect final piece to using my mage with Sera's armor and not having to choose between how I look and what stats I get. The only thing I wish were different is the initial choices. It would be nice if the mod defaulted to vanilla appearances and powers so we could change only what we want (at least with medium, I haven't used light or heavy). Not a big issue though. Just a bit time consuming when you're a masochist who constantly changes things.

It's easy to change the default menu. I describe how in nearly all of my configurable mods on the Description page. You will need Notepad++ (google it, it's free).

Good luck :) I'll add it to the description on this one.

That's even better. I've only been using this one and one other configurable, so I missed that option. Thanks so much!
